the stakes are really stepping up this season
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic Socialistseason 3 episode 4:
mostly an info-dump episode, Fels is Danmachi's bone daddy and holy shit! i did not expect Ganesha to know of the Xenos and Monsterphilia to help people to get used to monsters. and the Dungeon seems to hold more mysteries in what it is

Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistI always did like what little we’ve seen of Ganesha and I dig the reveal about him this episode. Curious to see where this Xenos plot thread is headed. Are the Xenos gonna join the Hestia Familia? Or are they gonna stay in the Dungeon and simply help out from time to time? Will there be a boss-level Xenos who will do anything to emerge on the surface?
Lyd is a cool lizard dude. He even advised Bell to not hesitate about killing monsters. He should get to see the sunset. Also wonder who the newbie he’s talking about is. I’ll laugh if it’s a minotaur.
As a reader of the novels I will answer your questions!. Spoilered for discretion.
Firstly No, or at least not as of Vol 14 or the main story or 15 of Sword Oratoria
Secondy Yes, mostly in Sword Oratoria but some in the main story
Thirdly No
Also get ready to laugh yourself silly. Its not just a Minotaur. It's the same Minotaur that Bell fought back in season one.
Edit for spelling

found this amazing channel dedicated to Danmachi, covering the LNs, manga, Memoria Freese and anime
season 3 episode 7:
Dix is a fucking murderhobo slavedriver
so it seems monsters can retain at least some of their sentience even in wild for
i'm loving the bromance between Lyd ans Bell
and now it's clear to everyone that Bell protects monsters
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistTangential to the current discussion, has anyone else read the latest (English release) of Familia Chronicle (this time focussing on Freya Familia).
Some backstory for Ottar and the other high ranking members of Freya Familia but the bulk of the story is set just before the series proper starts and can be basically summed up as Freya a field trip.
And it explicitly spells out that Orario is explicity set up to not only contain the monsters of the Dungeon but the high-level adventurers that arise from people challenging the Dungeon as well. The upper ranks of Loki or Freya Familias are capable of severely destabilising the balance of power just about anywhere they go outside Orario.

That Lyd-Bell tag team was sick.
Also, the monsterdude Lyd was talking about annihilated the Ganesha forces, plus Asfi and Ryuu. He’s crazy strong! He looks like a furry minotaur, which is amusing.
Curious to see how far the consequences of Bell’s actions will reach. He, however, made a truly heroic choice here.
Sorry man, haven’t glanced at the light novels.
Well this arc involves Daedalus and a labyrinth named Knossos. It would be strange for a minotaur not to show up.
As for the episode itself, it was very good, and I agree the Bell-Lyd team up was cool, as was Bell's punch.
Yeah, the Loki Familia got some great fights this episode. Lyd seems to be around Level 5, while the minotaur is high level 6. Speaking of the minotaur, holy shit, are they implying it’s the same minotaur that Ottar trained? That is hilarious.
I liked the song that played during Dia Orpheus. Interested to see the ramifications of Bell’s actions here. Given the title of the next episode, it’s gonna be rough.
LN spoilers:
Yep, Asterius was indeed the Minotaur Bell fought that Ottar trained. He considers Bell to be a fated rival as a result.
As for his strength, Finn notes that if Asterius learned proper technique as opposed to relying on his own considerable natural abilities, he'd be on par with Ottar. Forget Level 6, he could potentially be a Level 7 threat.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI am excited for when Asterius joins the fray.
I kinda think Gareth and Ais shouldn’t be being held back at all. They’re level 6. Seems more like they’re being delayed by the power of plot more than anything else. Otherwise... Finn gets props for not falling for the obvious diversion, Lili gets MAJOR props for being one hell of a nuisance, and Welf gets props for, well, his props.
Next episode: might we see Bell vs Tiona?
The character page for DanMachi is pretty long. We're probably going to need to break it down into subpages.
Hestia and Loki Familia have enough characters to get their own pages. I was thinking of then grouping the other adventuring familias under another one.
We should probably move the Argonaut Story entries to the Memoria Freese Character page.
Any other suggestions?

Memoria Freese is the mobile game. It has a lot of non-canon side stories written by the author as well as voiced passages of scenes that were cut from the anime.

Episode 2 was as good as always but I must say that I loved how they integrated the credits into the artwork of the opening
