"TIME FOR HUUUUUUUUGZ!"
As some of you may or may not know, they added in the updated Mortal Empires map Ubersreik to Reikland province (replacing Helmgard, as it is now an Imperial Fort). And there is a landmark building called "The Red Moon Inn". Aside from income, public order and Untained bonuses, it also provides a garrison of Thane, Waystalker, Witch Hunter, Empire Captain and Bright Wizard. If some of you already knew this, or has popped up somewhere in this thread, I'm sorry for repeating it. By the way, since Gotrek and Felix are confirmed to be playable, is there any hope for Thanquol? And, if they do make him playable, what faction would he lead? I never read any of Gotrek and Felix books (a big shame, I know), so I have no idea.
You're not late at all, we just know there was some sort of new Vermintide reference from the patch, but not what it was.
Too bad Total Warhammer doesn't have Ranger Veteran heroes.
References are always good, and it's fun to see a city with a special garrison. Makes it more unique to siege.
Still hoping for a Mordheim landmark.

I thought Mordheim had been added somewhere as a ruined city already?
But Ubersreik being protected by a multi-racial band of heroes is a cool touch xD This is just making me more and more excited for playing a new Empire game.
Mordheim exists, but doesn't have any landmark buildings right now.
Would it have any particular landmarks? My limited knowledge of the city comes from the game of the same name, where the city is showered in warpstone. Would that be a special building for factions to take advantage of? What kind of bonus could it give?
By the time of TWW (insofar as the game has a timeline, which it really doesn't), Mordheim's been abandoned for centuries, so any unique buildings would be a bit off, or should be a bit off.
It might be something like the Great Library of Mordheim, which through the good intentions of a Count interested in collections of knowledge became one of the biggest sources of texts on Daemonology and Necromancy in the entirety of the Empire. Big bonuses to recruiting Battle Wizards at the cost of corruption in the province, maybe.

Mordheim was rise by magnus the pius, so yeah.
And that library was because the governor of city want to have the biggest library of all, but it was so big there wasnt enough books for it, so people put forbidden grimories in it.
"LOOKS LIKE MEAT'S BACK ON THE MENU, BOYS!" -Applicable to either faction, 'cause the Hunter and the Beast DLC's out now.

Anyone else bugged by how Port Reaver's in the completely wrong place on that map?
My first Markus Wulfhart campaign ended rather ignominiously.
Teclis declared war on me and dragged all of Lustria into the conflict. I had one and a half armies to try to defend myself.
That's going in the Book you knife-eared bastard.
The Empire Huntman general fire skill is so OP, it basically melt all regenerate monster since it increase their fire weakness. Him plus a Bright Wizard equal death Hellpit and Mongul.
My first campaign's as the Golden Order - so far I've united Solland, took the hold of Karak Hirn from the greenskins (gotta have your iron) and kicked Vlad out of the Moot to return it to Stirland.
I also launched a military campaign into Sylvania and now stand at the gates of Drakenhof. Averland's likely the first province to confederate, so I will rule over a connected province.
Also thinking about doing an Empire co-op campaign. Does anyone know how the mechanics work if both players are inside the Empire?

Playing with Wulfhart's Hunters in a single huge hero bus is a whole lot of fun.
My Huntsmen do 192 damage per shot to non-Large enemies.
Is it just me or does Brian Blessed also kinda look like a subdued version of some Dwarf's face?
GOTY right there then.
The more I see, the more I want it.... but so much backlog!
Still enjoying my Gelt campaign and holy heck, the Empire's rocket artillery is a blast.
I haven't really played Empire before (not counting the Southern realms mod), so this is my first proper experience with them.
While I am currently doing the questline for the Staff of Volans, I'll probably let Gelt keep the runefang instead. It's more useful.
EDIT: Nevermind, the stuff is an arcane item, so I don't have anything to replace.

Can you even remove unique items from a character after they've earned it? If so, I never realized that was possible.
I think you can, at least if you own multiple ones for the same slot? Karl Franz got multiple legendary weapons.
The only item I remember that literally can't be unequipped is Azhag's crown.
Huh. And here I always thought it was an automatic process and you were locked in once you got the quest item.
Nope, you've been able to swap since the first game. Since Franz gets both the Reikland Runefang and Ghal Maraz, in that case you have to pick one or the other.
Which was always a bit silly, considering Ghal Maraz is a straight-up upgrade stat-wise. No reason to keep using the Runefang.
