I wasn't at the peak of my power when Chaos attacked, but the attack allowed me to be... the Shield of Civilisation led me to confederate with the remaining Empire provinces to form one fuck huge block against Chaos, and I promptly lured the three armies away from one another and crushed them one by one, The Everchosen falling to handgunner fire, and the Greater Daemon of Tzeench getting its head crushed by The Warhammer, right now I'm mopping up a few Chaos raiders while planning attacks in into the North, Slyvania and the South to wipe out the Northern tribes, Orcs and Vampire in one fell swoop, meanwhile the Border Princes are being bitches who refused to ally with me against Chaos, so I have the entire Shield of Civilisation alliance coming down on their heads...
advancing the front into TV Tropeson my third campaign right now, Vampire Count's, and one thing I love is how, despite the Storm of Chaos, this still only feels like the beginning, refugees keep pouring in saying a greater threat is coming, my citizens keep disappearing at night, and mysterious black cities have been sighted off the coast... I kinda like that Chaos ain't the greatest threat for once
advancing the front into TV TropesDark Elves, Lizardmen, High Elves, Skaven, Wood Elves, Tomb Kings (hopefully), Chaos Dwarfs (we wish), and Nagesh are still to make an appearance... maybe he is the greater threat... after all, he does plan to usurp the Gods and become lord of all... and is stupidly OP on the tabletop
advancing the front into TV TropesMy guess is if they do Nagash and the End Times it's gonna be the very last game in the series.
But yeah, my guess for the Total Warhammer 'road map' is that Bretonnia will be added into the game as it exists now.
The next one is gonna be Total War: Elves. Dark Elves, High Elves, Wood Elves get added, as well as Beastment and Daemons.
Then Total War: The Great Plan, adding Skaven, Lizardmen, Ogre Kingdoms and Tomb Kings.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Nah. The plan is to have it be a trilogy of games, Starcraft 2-style, with each one adding 4-5 new factions.
There are way too many factions that require unique animations and gameplay (both on the campaign map and on the battlefield) to justify releasing them as DLC. You could maybe get away with, say, doing it with Kislev and Bretonnia (on the campaign map) because those factions are just reskinned humans, but Beastmen? No way.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.I'm way more interested in which Legendary Lords they're adding into the game. My guess:
Empire: Luthor Huss or Volkmar the Grim. Either way a representative of the Church of Sigmar.
Vampire Counts: Probably Abhorash, a Blood Knight so fighty it gave Khorne pause.
Greenskins: Wurrzag, Prophet of the Git.
Dwarfs: I forget his name, but there's a special Runesmith character who would be a good match.
Warriors of Chaos: Eeeh? Wulfrik maybe? Valkia the Bloody?
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.

My guess is either Knut Helborg, the Reiksmarshal, or maybe Ludwig Schwarzhelm (whose helmet is always painted gold.)
Or I guess they could go with Valten, Chosen of Sigmar if they want to go full End Times.
For Dwarfs there's the obvious choice of the High Runemaster. Vampire Counts have an entire von Carstein dynasty to pick from.
