It was also used in the video game.
I could have sworn one of the spin-off shows used that design too, although I could just be misremembering.
This official Dr. Claw art◊ uses that face too.
I would love to know the story behind that design. Who created it (Jean Chalopin?) and who approved of it (Andy Heyward?) and why.
Well, it all started with Mr. and Mrs Claw... :P
Daveed Diggs is in talks to play Sebastian in "The Little Mermaid" remake.
Under the Sea rap number, then? I'm down for that.
I didn't know Melissa McCarthy was cast as Ursula.
I can't picture her playing a villain.
fuck that pisses me off, i really wanted a drag queen to play ursula because she was partly based on divine
I was honestly unaware Inspector Gadget was a film adaptation unti 6 or so years ago. I always thought it was the other way. As a result, the film doesn't bother me much.
I wonder what they'll do to Ursula's design. I could see it being made more humanoid.
If they do make Ursula into Triton's sister, I wonder how they'll explain it. I never understood how they could be biological siblings.
We're already accepting of Ariel and her sisters having a billion different hair colors that could never have possibly come from the same gene samples, why should fin/tentacles be any different at this point? Or purple skin for that matter?
One of the EU novels, Poor Unfortunate Soul: A Tale Of The Sea Witch, had Ursula changing her body structure from mermaid to octopoid, when she wanted to become a witch.
Jungle Cruise trailer is online:
I too enjoyed The Mummy (1999).
New Trailer for "Lady and the Tramp"
Hmm... an arrow head that has the power to unlock power.....
x4 I'm sure all you folks have heard that our World Famous Jungle Cruise is getting a movie staring the Rock. Look, there he is now! (Points to large rock) We certainly won’t be taking him for Granite.

More seriously though, this actually looks like it could be surprisingly fun. A madcap Indiana Jones-esque adventure is a nice change from the constant stream of remakes that we’ve been getting recently.

There's exactly one thing the Jungle Cruise movie needs.
So many puns.
Like, Peabody and Sherman levels of there being one character who just belts out stupid wordplay at the drop of a hat - preferably the Rock's.

Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson in wacky adventure mode is pretty much a dream cast for me.

I think they were just being sardonyx.
Oh deer what has happened here?
Maybe if this does well enough, we can finally get that Del Toro Haunted Mansion movie that’s been stuck in Development Hell since forever.
And speaking of Jungle Cruise and Mansion...
