Alrighty, now I'm having faith for the henson company on taking part of this.
Yeah it's real. You might notice that there is some animatronic eyes they were already constructed in the background of some of those images. Those eyes are pretty damn close to the game's animatronic eyes.
To be quite frank I am rather surprised people still do not get that the movie can do much much more then the games narrative wise.
Going by the looks of that maw, it looks like the Mangle might be coming back.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.I just hope they don't mess up...
See ya later, alligatorWith Scott being involved in the movie and ACTUAL animatronics in the movie (Disclaimer: None of the staff got Springtrapped during the production of this movie)? I'm actually a little optimistic.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Yeah, well... I hope Scott's not being too involved with the story for this one. I think a FNAF movie would work, even though I'm not a fan of the games, I still think it might pull through.
A fan of anime, music, and movies. One thing is for sure; the internet is going to either have a really good laugh if it blows like they expect, or be in awe if it actually raises more money than the costs.
I'm pretty convinced that the majority of viewers are gonna be people ages 10-18 though, if all of the novelty accounts I've seen are implying the right thing. Maybe a few stragglers from those who are curious about the film though.
I'm gonna at at least be respectful if they actually use props, robots and other machinery rather than computer effects though. A well made robot is always a plus side to me.
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane.Even if the movie is terrible, at least it'll look really really good.
By todays standards, or do you think it will surpass the standard in the visuals and effect department?
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane.Hard to say, especially given what they're trying to get across.
It's worth considering that what they're basically doing is creating animatronics that are designed to create the impression of haunted, living animatronics.
Just an off hand thing, but I always liked that word. Animatronic. Now you can't say it without being associated with the somewhat mediocre games. Impressive that one guy did it, but it should've concluded itself after '2 or '3.
Anyways back to the movie; the fact that they just might create actual robots, or at least convincing suits gives me a little admiration if that's the direction they're going. Real shame that todays audience might not appreciate props and suits like before. Same thing happen with the horror franchise that isn't this; suspense and mystery replaced by jumpscares and how spooky the enemy looks. Except now CGI is the norm rather than hiring guys to construct stuff.
tl;dr I hope it's not too computer generated
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane.I feel as if something like this being primarily done through CGI would kill it for me. Honestly, I'm looking forward for real suits/ actual animatronics being used with only CGI used to touch things up slightly, while giving the main high lights on practical effects.
A fan of anime, music, and movies. My thoughts exactly. I'm not one to judge a piece of work before it's even started/finished, but CGI is one of those that can make some people jump to conclusions that their opinions are based on.
Then again, what it's like The Thing 2011? The promise of suits and robots with CGI touch ups, but complications on everyone higher than the prop guys made sure that barely any of the molds and robots made it in, and that they would get replaced with CGI instead.
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane. My assumption is that the scenes will be filmed with actual anamatronics and puppetry and then those scenes will be touched up and etc with CGI. There's only so much someone can do with anamatronics compared to the games; I have no idea how you'd do something like Foxxy's Pounce Attack from the second game and I don't know if the Mangle would look that convincing unless literally every part of them is able to twist and contort in every direction and that's a tall order for anamatronics and puppetry.
There's going to be CGI in here without a doubt, but to what extent is up in the air.
It helps to have animatronics so the CG artists have a realistic base to work on.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI'm not all that familiar with the characters, fanbase made me steer clear when '2 was picking up.
Mangled is the mickey mouse looking one without a chassis, right?

Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane. Not sure what you mean by "Mickey Mouse"?
Freddy is the bear with the top hat, Chica is the chicken with the cake, Bonnie is the blue rabbit, Foxy is the pirate fox, Mangle is the pink and white fox with that's torn in pieces, and Balloon Boy is the kid carrying balloons. Then there's Springtrap and Golden Freddy but they're more complicated to explain.

Per the mods' repellant efforts to avoid all responsibility, I regret to announce this is the end of my time on TVT. I'm going now. Goodbye.A real shame, I saw those robots and thought it would've been amazing if they weren't replaced. Maybe even save the movie from the forced answering of some questions the old one had.
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane.Effects aside, I still felt the movie just wanted to be a remake, even if the director had stated before "it wasn't going to be a remake." It repeated too much of the original for me to consider it a proper prequel.
Anyways... back to more stuff on the FNAF movie...
A fan of anime, music, and movies.Vague non explanations and mystery box writing may work in TV and video games, but it sure as hell won't work in film (Scott took a page from thr Damon Lindoff school of Mystery Boxes and Non-Answers, and there's only so long you can do that before the audience decides "I don't give a shit anymore")
Honestly the fact that this film isn't just taking the base concept and going in its own direction mean it's gonna fail for anyone who isn't already a fan of the series, and since Freddy fans all of about 5 people who spam shit on Twitter we've got a flop on our hands. It's needs to be something of an Adaptation Distillation (or even a Pragmatic Adaptation) to attract an audience outside Freddy turbonerds.
So you're saying a more obvious supernatural element?
Try imagining how far the universe extends! Keep thinking about it until you go insane. The series isn't as mysterious and vague as claimed. The first game had basically an Excuse Plot; animatronics are out to kill you, hide from them. The following games had more integrated plots, but they could still be easily ignored if you didn't feel like listening to the phone calls or playing the minigames. And almost all the secrets have been leaked onto the Internet and made easy to find. The main reason why Cawthon left the box in the fourth game locked is because he claimed everyone had already figured out everything else. The film may use a simpler and more obvious plot because that's the nature of film, but it isn't hard for players to find the elements that let them put the story together.
Per the mods' repellant efforts to avoid all responsibility, I regret to announce this is the end of my time on TVT. I'm going now. Goodbye.Yeah, the basic structure is not that tricky. Each game gives you two or three unambiguous clues about what's happening, and a lot of more ambiguous stuff that players are expected to fit around those clues. And there's always just a few things that don't make sense without taking the other games into account.
Part of the problem is that the fandom out-clevers itself, wanting to keep assuming there aren't any clues that can be taken at face value. They tend to praise Scott for his "mastery" of ambiguity, when it's not that hard once you start thinking about it on those terms.

Looks like it
