@Daydre: To quote a certain TV show, 'I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry...' that I didn't notice your posts saying you wanted to flood the place, though I also thought that this was mentioned in the RP itself; as far as I can tell, it wasn't. In any case, sure; go nuts.

Hey Kho, question: Is there any limit on the number of abilities you'll allow Assimilator to start off with? The potency is related to how much body she assimilated, so the only potential issue would be too much power synergy.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."![]()
It'll depend on just what abilities you actually have. For example, you could have five abilities, but they could all be very minor specific ones. On the other hand, you could have only one ability, but it could be, say, mass fire control. In other words, how many abilities you can have depends on how powerful the abilities you do have are.
Well, regarding actual body space, she would only be able to have four-to-six "majorish" powers at once (as in "useful enough to fight, but really not good enough to use all alone"). She could probably squeeze in four or five more majorish powers by replacing her internals and the leftover space separate from her limbs/torso/back (though internals replacement would be quite messy, so that's more of a hypothetical). Her right arm is Justin's and her left leg is a speedster's, so that's already two majorish powers. She stole the vocal cords of a sound manipulator, though that's so weak she can only use the copied power to affect her speech.
Though yeah, I think I got it figured out now.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."The actual potency still relates to how much of the person's body she assimilates, so one really major power means basically stripping apart a single person. In addition, most of the time the power will just stick to the part itself (thus her copied Inorganic Manipulation only works around the right arm for example). So yeah, her individual abilities won't be very strong, but if its okay I'm going for a synergy thing (flier's leg to go with her speedster leg so she can perform longer jumps and land safely as an example). In all, discounting her left hand and vocal cords (extremely too minor to be greatly useful), she'll only have four notable copied powers.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."If it's taken you five pages of the discussion thread to figure things out, maybe this Assimilator patchwork-Rogue-thing isn't the best idea to put into the RP? It just looks like you're making Kkhohoho spend a lot of time and effort on dealing with a questionable character for not that much benefit to the RP itself.

No idea what NF is supposed to mean, though I will admit I actually hadn't been working on designing her powers until recently. Wanted to deal with Justin first before writing her up, and I'll post her after Day creates Sarah's sheet.

Well Justin would like to attack someone after Eclipse left unscathed. Though I just realized... Kho, other than the Prinstine Tower thing, what are some notable events that supers have been involved in?

Right. Well, there was, of course, the debt of the Saint in 1938; dressed all in white and with a giant gold S on his chest, he wowed the world with his magnificent feats and valor, and inspired a new Golden Age of heroes.
Aside from that, there was the invasion from the realm of Volghana in the 40's, which was an alternate reality where humanities development veered into magic instead of science. Discovering our dimension, they felt we were uncivilized and barbaric, and so sought to 'correct' us. Ultimately, the worlds' heroes were able to send them back where they came from, and society was able to rebuild itself. There was also Crazy Ed's attempt to nuke the entire world back in the fifties, the invasion from Atlantis in the 60's...
There was the Coming of the Enlightened One in the 70's. He was basically an omnipotent being who felt that Earth was unenlightened, and so decided to 'enlighten' it by placing it under his telepathic control. Only the Cosmic Keystone, a powerful artifact that fell to Earth long ago, could defeat him, and even then, all it could do was reach into his mind and make him realize why what he was doing was wrong. He relinquished his control and vanished, never to be seen again.
The 80's had the first instance of the public becoming dissatisfied with Superheroes, after a slew of Darker and Edgier vigilantes started popping up; the public welcomed them at first, but after one 'hero' accidently killed a child, they soon withdrew their praise. By the 90's however, this more violent brand of heroism mostly fell by the wayside, and the public soon began to appreciate it's heroes again, though not without just a slight air of caution.
The 90's had another invasion, this time from the planet Kronos, which was running out of resources. Of course, they thought we were the next best thing. The heroes managed to fight them off and, for the umpteenth time, humanity recovered. Although, there are rumors saying that Hammer used samples of Kronos technology as the basis for their advanced technology, though there is nothing definite.
That's just a sampling, but hopefully, it gives you an idea of this worlds' history.

I'm waiting for Kho to write what Boulder does so the others can focus on Eclipse. Kho thinks that'll be the easiest way to end the fight, so I would go with what he says to do.
Regarding the ideas, well one of my characters is a body-part thief. I mean, I only mentioned those two NPCs because she steal a part from them. Not all of my suggestions are going to be cripples.
