Let me warn you now. Nyarly trying his stuff on Donkey Kong is an effort in futility. The big ape has no dark secrets or insecurities to play off of as well as being the epitome of Too Dumb to Fool. Wrinkly Kong as well by virtue of already being dead. The others, though.......

I will provide you with details you can use, most of my cast are screws up but there are two I feel old nyarly might have a hard time with.

Oh my god, this'll be fun.

Spending today attending a convention, so I'll get to posting tonight (which I believe is the next day for some of you).

I'm not familiar with this incarnation of Nyarly; does he only torment people with guilty consciences, or just anybody who's done something wrong?

(If it's the former, then I don't know if Steeljaw's pack would be as susceptible, since most of them note  are all pretty unapologetic and borderline gleeful about the various war crimes they've committed.)

Of course, he's not the only one like that. Nyarly will likely attempt other methods to screw with such characters. Nice thing about evil characters with 0 remorse is that they tend to have one of two things, personality flaws, and desires. Both of which he can exploit to get them to do what he wants.

[up]In that case the Kremlings would be very easy for him to use as a starter army. XD

Aaaand posted. Man, with all these new neighbors I wish I'd done a chunkless sign-up.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

Guess I might have to make up some backstory stuff for Shovel Knight's crew, since other than the incident in the Tower of Fate there isn't much backstory for Any of them. Though it looks like there will be more entertaining options around tongue

And still waiting on laptop to be repaired, though I realized I might have to figure out what they've been doing besides sitting quietly in a corner of the common room...

Eventually.

Yo, have I been struck from the list of active players?

I just want to make sure.

Because if not I may have an idea, and if so I am totaly fine with that too.

I did remove you from the active player list and the map. However, if you wish to rejoin, I can alter this, quickly put you back on the map, and edit out the mention of Paradise's removal.

Well I actualy had a much stupider idea I was willing to try, that would be much less broken, but I don't mind being gone either.

The idea in question being the KSC

[up][up]I can still slot you in if you want with the new idea (No idea what it is you're referring to by the way). One of the people that expressed interest told me he's not joining after all, and I've not heard from another for some days now, so we got room for ya if you want.

Oh, also, if MSF does end up working for Outworld, I am planning on pitting them against Desperado in the coming Koopa Kingdom/Outworld conflict. Just so I'm not fighting myself lol.

Kerbal Space Program

Although, I can't remember what you said about mods, because it may be a bad idea without BD Armory

[up]I know nothing about this game. Can they fight meaningfully in a conflict?

And the judgment on mods was no.

Actually, that reminds me, I have a question I've been meaning to ask. Would it be okay for MSF to be, like, reverse-engineering captured enemy equipment if they get it?

Assuming they'd be reasonably able to study it, figure out how it works, and reproduce it? Sure, I have no issues with it.

Without mods, no not really, which is the problem.

With that B-Dynamics mod, it becomes honestly one of the best damn build your own military vehicle sims I have ever seen.

Until you go full stupid and give a GAU-8 wings

Example of a proper warplane using that and not just me being stupid

Hmm. I am sorry, but I'm gonna have to stick to the no mod rule here, since this would be a substantial departure from how the chunk would work in cannon. Sorry man.

Hey, is there a limit on how.... big chunk-less can be?

I have more ideas since I am trying to switch to something less broken, and one in specific I think would work better as a chunkless since it is not the kind of thing that would set up a nest.

Yet at the same time, it is more along the lines of the other civs if it is left long enough/pushed hard enough...

whatver you have.

[up]I've generally stated that chunkless factions don't get mooks/goons brought with them. One of the NPC factions has a minor exception to this, as Mistral of Desperado requires the use of summonable mooks to assemble her main weapon, but those pose 0 threat otherwise. Other then that, maximum limit on characters is around 6-7.
