Monster Hunter claw.

Or maybe get one of those portable mode holders that gives you thighs.

Claw is uncomfortable.

Well, whatever. I shan't be doing portable mode again. Docked all day every day from now on.

Maybe it's the way I hold the joycons, but I don't think I've ever had an issue with that. Could also just be that my hands are small.

I've read that an article in the Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream had Story of Seasons as the 11th most wanted Switch title. That's surprisingly high even for a smaller magazine.

Just have your thumb approach from the side toward the buttons, rather than from the bottom where the right control stick is. Is there a comfort issue with doing that?

It was announced today that Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town is getting a remake. For reference, it combines it with More Friends of Mineral Town so you can play as Claire. The art-style looks a bit like Magical Melody's.

Also, there's a Harvest Moon (Natsume) spinoff game called Harvest Moon: Mad Dash. This one was announced in May but I haven't heard anyone mention it here. It's being described as Overcooked!-like.

My birthday is this month, and I've received some 30% off offers on games...none of which I actually want.sad

Plus, both my Wii U and 3DS are still broken. Been saving up cash to fix them so those offers are no good to me right now.

Nintendo's discount offers for your birthday never really have the big name titles.

Tell me about it.

I have enough money on my account for one game or DLC for Zelda or Xenoblade. After that I'll be a bit short, but if the offers had been a bit more varied, I could have maybe picked up something else as well.

Was a little late to post this one, but everyone's favorite singing hologram is getting a game on the Switch! Proving once again that it's the Vita's successor.

This is pretty significant since the last Project Diva game was 3 years ago, which doesn't sound like much but the series used to be a yearly thing. Game's gonna have 101 songs, 90 returning from other games and 11 new ones, including one written specifically for this game. Admittedly this is a step down from Future Tone which had 238 songs, but that game also costs something like $90 to get absolutely everything iirc? And 101 songs is still the most songs ever for an entry in the series developed specifically for console, since Future Tone was originally an arcade game.

I wonder if it'll be released outside of Japan. While we did get most of the PS games of the 3DS games we only got one.

[up] That's not such a big deal, since my understanding is that Project Mirai 2 had pretty much everything including all the songs and costumes from PM 1, and DX (which is the one we got) was 2 with a "new" song / opening (as well an associated costume), with an eye towards possible localization.

Yeah, we've been getting the latest games in the series and the vast majority of the comments in the announcement video are in English. I think it's a pretty safe bet that the game will be localized, it just probably won't be a simultaneous release. Maybe since it's not as many songs as FT they might actually provide English subtitles.

If I'm interpreting this correctly, on October 18th, we're getting Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition. At least, that's what I'm assuming based on the subtitles in that trailer along with the fact that the ending info cards are in English.

I've never been a Digimon person but I've heard a lot of good about these games and maybe if I squint real hard I can pretend I'm playing Devil Survivor 3.

Yeah, I've heard plenty of good things too, even if I'm not all that big a Digimon fan (I stopped paying close attention to the franchise during the gap between Frontier and Data Squad).

Also, I forgot to mention, it's being called Complete Edition because it includes both the original Cyber Sleuth and the spin-off / sidestory, Hacker's Memory.

Style Savvy is an IP that suffers from Invisible Advertising lately. I've seen some posts online by fans who think it could be one of Nintendo's top 10 IPs, if only it has a bigger budget and more advertising. I wonder if the eventual Switch title will have a bigger push.

I'm still waiting for the day Pokémon and Digimon have a crossover.

Personally, I'd prefer if the 'net was a little friendlier, but you know the GIFT...

Style Savvy would be incredible on Switch. I also think a character from that could work in Smash as a Wii Fit Trainer kind of "out of nowhere but makes sense in retrospect" kind of character.

Actually, I wonder how well Labo is suited toward making makeup simulating Toy-Cons.

I think the best chance for Pokemon vs Digimon to ever become a reality is if Agumon somehow gets into Smash as a playable character, and he's not even on a very long waiting list there.

I've been playing through the Style Boutique series recently, and oh gosh it's so good. And I know an imaginary amount about fashion and style. I've been hoping to see a new game in a Direct for a while, and I agree it's Nintendo's biggest series that nobody talks about.
