Too much speculation chasing after too few facts: The Movie: The Thread.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThe article headline: "NX to arrive in 2016"
The actual article itself: "Nintendo will unveil the NX in 2016"
Clickbait article misusing the word "arrive" in title. Because I wouldn't call them revealing the device and giving it an actual name an "arrival" at all. That is a word for it hitting the stores.
But 150 bucks for a next gen console with a portable unit? I dunno what they've been smoking, but I want some!

Actually it's just 150$ for the controller peripheral.
We call it Nunchuk 2.0
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. No way is it launching for $150 and yet adhering to the rest of that rumor. Nintendo would be lucky to break even at $300 and have a home console "faster" than PS 4/X1.
They've got a lot of balancing to do, basically. Price goes too high and its DOA. But if the specs aren't good enough, then it'll be another Wii U and be utterly ignored (although 3rd party Japanese games will likely upport from the handheld).
Rumor: Retro working on a new IP they pitched to Nintendo.

Is no doubt being discussed elsewhere too but if it's legit it was probably made with the NX in mind.
It was announced at the financial meeting yesterday. The system is called Nintendo Account and it links in with My Nintendo (which is what's replacing Club Nintendo). Your Miis and save game data will be stored on a cloud server with your Nintendo Account and it'll do everything the Nintendo Network ID should have. It'll be released in March, I do believe, alongside the smartphone app "Miitomo."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Cloud saves sound nice as long as they are optional, not mandatory.
Next thing we know, Miiverse will add a "share on facebook/twitter" button when making a post.
I'm curious of what do they mean "playing games gets you freebies"
... Video Game Achievements turned into e-shop credit?

I also only realized today that FF7 trailer is "play it first on Sony"... and with the new Smash character announced... I would have to agree on the possibility of FF7 on NX...
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!
Eh, I'd say it depends on how much of a software lineup they actually announce. Nintendo has launched a new platform twice without much software to back it up with both the 3DS and the Wii-U. With the latter, they were never able to recover their lost momentum.
The only way I see the NX launching next holidays is if they for certain have a consistent software lineup planned out.

The rumor or the news site I linked too?
