The beret-cap wearing man approached the van Duo used.
"I'll assume that you're the backup The Syndicate provided? I'm Huang." Huang introduced himself.
"What orders do we have, Huang?"
A black cat with a bell collar on its neck approached Huang. Duo and Yon were not hallucinating since it was talking like an ordinary person.
"None yet, Mao." Huang replied to the cat. "Except that he's our backup. Comes from Sweden."
"Ahh.. yes." Mao eyed Duo's wound. "I'm Mao. BK-201's getting into position to assault the warehouse just nearby. Your targets are inside and our orders are to take them out."
Huang puffed out cigarette smoke from his lungs before he told Duo, "Your orders are simple. You're to provide backup for BK-201 when we storm the place. Meyer & Hilton was able to get some heavy duty backup to get security for the place. For this case, you need to take them out quietly before our target gets wind of it."
Huang later on got a Beretta M1934
from his shoulder holster and gripped it with his two hands.
"Let's go. Mao, stay here and provide some recon just in case those private soldiers get more backup."
"Understood, Huang."
The ex-public security officer led the way towards the warehouse, only to stop and take a look at the outskirts. He noted four armed men, all armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A3s while having black tac vest placed over their shirts.
The stolen Toyota Crown cruiser arrived at the rear part of the warehouse as directed by Eye Sky. So far, it appeared to be clear. But the chopper later broke off, warning that they don't want to stir up the opposition inside.
"We're on our own from here." Mike did a brass check on his pistol before he got the cruiser's lightbar sirens on, but did not turn on the sounds.
He opened the door and got out of the car. "Let's head over there." The ex-officer pointed to a stack of boxes near the rear entrance of the warehouse.
Mike looked at his sidearm. He then decided to do it anyway.
"Here." He pulled the slide of his pistol and snatched the 9mm bullet before it could land on the ground.
"Good thing I haven't fired this yet, so this is an extra bullet from yours truly." He peeked from the corner to make sure no one was around before he gave the bullet to the doctor.
A masked man with a black trenchcoat and white resin mask began to run down the empty street towards the warehouse. He used his retractable cable to climb up the tree and use the branch to land down on the same area the two ASE operatives are before he started to sneak up towards the building's rear entrance.
Yon wordlessly followed Huang and Duo, her rifle in her arms and pistol at her hip. She had good long distance vision and so hung back from the two agents as she took note of the enemy positions – they were not the main targets but they would get in the way. She silently sneaked closer to the men, looking to her handlers for confirmation to begin an assault. Her knives were ready for a more quiet take down and the blood on Duo’s shirt allowed her to hear orders in full.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”"All right. Let's do this."
Huang led Yon and Duo to the front entrance of the deserted warehouse. While hiding behind a parked van, he placed a suppressor on his sidearm.
"Hold it." Huang whispered to them as the guards were replaced by a four-man patrol.
Wait for it.... The ex-public security officer waited for two of them to pass by the van.
This gave Huang the opportunity to sneak up behind one of them and knock them out cold by kicking the back of his legs and clocked him with his pistol to the back of his head.
"Knock the other guy out." Huang gave the order to Duo and Yon. "No guns."
"Time to move."
Huang shot the other two men in the legs to make them fall down. He subsequently shot in the temple afterwards, using the smoke as cover.
"Come on, I'll lead."
The Syndicate agent made the approach towards the front entrance, using the crates for cover.
Meanwhile, BK-201 was now inside the warehouse via second floor balcony and was about to infiltrate the warehouse to cover for his comrades. He gripped the door handle and slowly channeled his Contractor powers on it.
He began to glow blue, a sign of his powers being used.

"We are messy existences." The contractor said. And then after pondering a while, added a slight smirk to the comment to make his point.
