Silence tries to stop the truck and turn on the headlights. (([6,6,3,3,3,4,1] = 2 successes but a 6 on the computer die
)) . He manages to bring the truck to a successful stop, turning on the headlights. Before he can restart the truck into motion, Silence's vision is filled with an image of a giant video screen showing an eye staring at him.
"Citizen, why have you stopped in the middle of Cargo Transportation Corridor X-27-a3-NOD?"
Silence:
Eye sight problems, Citizen? Please wait while I do a remote diagnostic.
It is very hard to describe what it feels like to have a piece of hardware in your brain remotely test your eyeballs. Imagine being forced to stare into a strobe light, while someone is jabbing a pair of ice picks into the sides of your sockets. The pain only lasts a moment but the memory lingers.
Your eyes are fine, citizen. What made you think you couldn't see?
TESLAA smiles deviously upon hearing AVA,"Happiness is mandatory - anxiety is not happy. And only a traitor would be nervous about sabotage with Friend Computer protecting all citizens..." She says conversationally.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Silence lets out a low grumble since there is no one close enough to him to blame. "Because we were not informed that the tunnel should be in full condition thus any terrorist sabotage would not be evident to us," he thought to himself.
He started the truck again and began to drive forward, "Perhaps the terrorists were sneaky enough to make the sabotage not evident until we arrived so one of us could be blamed, maybe it was Tessla," he grumbled out loud.
And in a instant Silence goes from just following orders to being annoyed and disliking things.

"But that would jeopardise this mission, and as team leader I strive to prevent that." TESLAA gives SILENCE a meaningful look. "As my subordinate you must show loyalty to me and therefore Friend Computer. Are you not loyal to our computer friend?"
TESLAA looks nack at AVA, " Why do you need to prove loyalty? Friend Computer knows all citizens are loyal. Onlt traitors need proof."

“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Lanius wakes up in bed, still groggy. He then freezes as he remembers that his first mission was supposed to be today, before scrambling to get dressed, chug a few cups of Near Caf, grab his cred stick and laser pistol, and tries desperately to remember the route to the debriefing room.

“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor Hebert"You see," Ava said without looking away, but waiting for the treason stars to ping, "Friendcomputer knows our worth and loyalty but gives us the opportunity to prove it so we can grow into our positions ourselves. This is why even though Friendcomputer knew we were all worthy of our position as Reds (except traitors who were planted to further give us the chance to prove our loyalty), we began as infrareds and why we still have the /opportunity/ to advance even though Friend Computer already knows what position we are worthy of."
Silence looked into the rear view mirror, a look on his face behind his mask saying "you're serious?" before he spoke up. "I woke up right on time this morning. So did Tessla. So did everyone else in the center for the waffles last time I checked. I believe he is trying to bluff to be humorous. Friend Computer has not authorized humor on this mission but he has chosen him for a reason."
"Clearly you were chosen for your dedication Ava. To make sure we stay on task."

"Possible," Ava said with a frown, "Or he sabotaged the wrong alarm clocks, or Friend computer foresaw the treason and prevented it. Otherwise he is performing some unauthorized humour, the punchline of which is beyond our clearance level. Eitherway, I do not trust him."
"Further," Ava continued, "Commander TESLAA, keep an eye under your seat."

TESLAA gripped the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes momentarily when WOLF admitted to sabotage, in response to her displeasure before resuming smiling in a fixed manner. "Trust is reserved for Friend Computer and Friend Computer only, AVA. No trust is required amongst citizens - or else no treasonous actions would be brought to light." She pointed out, looking over her should to the back seats and giving WOLF an unimpressed look, and one to AVA that seemed to say I'm going to fix your little red wagon, mate.
"In response to your warning I should say it is fortunate I have good hindsight. Nevertheless, we must continue the mission - to stall would be treason. Get this thing moving, SILENCE."
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”

TESLAA covertly scratches her nose and awaits proper lighting.
