So, I got my first (and probably only for now) Amiibo at the Nintendo Store in NYC. So now I have a nice Bowser figurine.
So, people mention being able to "train" Amiibos in Smash 4. How? Just fight with them until they level up enough?
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.Friggin computer reflexes man! You can also teach them to spam certain moves.

feasible because I get paid $10 a week mowing my neighbor's lawn, plus I have an allowance day every other Friday (hey, I'm only a high school junior, I don't have an actual job yet), so that's about $60 a month. I'd have about $100 more if I wasn't saving for a Laserdisc player.
Plus, I think I get money from St. Patrick's day cards, and I'll definitely get Easter cards containing some money in them.
I've seen other Amiibos go for less (namely Mega Man and Sonic).
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
That's my problem...because I also have the tendency to want to buy more video games and VHS tapes...
I'm mostly in this to get figures of characters I'd otherwise be unable to get. (ie: Fox Mc Cloud, Captain Falcon, Lucina, Samus)
Isn't $10 more than minimum wage? Does that depend on the state one lives in?

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!$10 an hour is above minimum wage. $10 a week is borderline slave labor.

I actually don't mind it, since all I'm doing is mowing a lawn. That's what I mean by "summer job".
For what it's worth, I have tried applying for jobs before (because my parents really want me to get a job now as opposed to when/if I can get a proper education), but I've not heard anything back.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!I'm going to clarify a few things:
1. It's not much of a job, I only refer to it as one as it is the closest thing I have to a job at the moment. It's just mowing the neighbor's lawn.
2. It's only once a week.
3. It takes me about an hour to do the job, so technically, it would count as minimum wage as I only give one hour per week. Plus, sometimes, my next door neighbor will need me to mow her lawn, so that can add an additional $10-$15 when she goes on vacation. And it also takes me about an hour to do her lawn (plus, it has stuff to avoid like plants and table, and frickin' trees).
4. On top of that, holidays like Easter, my birthday, and my allowance also being $10 every two weeks, would help me gain money.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!
I've only gotten Mario, Samus, Kirby, and Fox. I'm fairly new to collecting Amiibos too.
can I have those Amiibos of yours?
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

Mine wasn't even level 50.
