Yecotis fumed as the in-and-out guy, Ornias, got away again. He held out his knife to inspect. Oh, Prayer, he thoguht, you are so much more than a knife... his people, hm.

"We shall see!" Yecotis shouts at Ornais as he flees. Yecotis glanced around and saw he was alone. Cowards, all of them. Afraid of the sight of a little blood. He sprints out the front and sees the two chicks from earilier talking by the bug-girl's bike. Hm, no use bothering with them. So far they were innocent. But not for long. Yecotis smiled wickedly and whistled as he walked towards Ground Zero, without thinking about it.

OOC: sorry if this post is a little short and haphazard - Been flogging stuff at a garage sale all day in the heat. Also note that Susie didn't hear Penny's name.

Eastern Library - Outside

The motorcycle seemed impatient to Susie's ears and the voices screamed in time to the sirens - she had to leave. Now. Suddenly, a less familiar voice rose above the others, "Hey! Can you get me out of here!? Don't have a ride and I really don't want to stick around!" It took the musician a moment to realise it actually came from an external source, turning her head sharply to see the brown-haired 'host' from the library.

"Then make haste and get the bloody hell on, windy-wendy!" Susie Q instructed rather too briskly, fingers twitching with anxiety and impatience. With a rev of the engines they were in motion, she taking the fastest way out of the area to an undecided destination - zipping in and out of tight alleyways just to be sure. She wasn't even sure she could trust her passenger, let alone that they had truly lost the sirens. After some time Q slowed their pace to get her bearings, now somewhere near the slums as far as she could tell. "Do you have a name? Or do I get to make one up?"

Haile had been walking for a good bit, and was just contemplating sitting down and taking a break for a bit, preferably somewhere with a lot of people, when he heard the squeal of tires and a woman's indistinct voice around the corner, sounding tense and rather snappy. He frowned a bit, then turned the corner at a light jog. What he saw was two girls astride a motorcycle, with the one driving - and the one he had heard before - asking the other one if the other had a name. Both looked rather beat up, with the driving one having several cuts in various places and the other girl having what looked like burns all over her body. "Geez, what happened to you two? Run into an ex-boyfriend or something?" Haile hoped that his attempt at being funny would go over well, or at least not get him killed.

Martin didn't like where Bear was apparently leading him. "Danger? Of course I haven't been in danger. Why would I be? And of course they're guarding it. That's where the... the thing, happened... I told you already; no more killing. If we try to get in there, you must know what'll happen! Can you honestly say you'll be able to keep your word to me if a fight starts?"

The Slums - Shade Street

The motorbike squealed in complaint as it rounded a corner and plodded down the street, its driver taking series of nervous glances at the surrounding cityscape before bring it to a halt. She hardly knew this woman and wasn't going to take her anywhere until she got some information - lies or otherwise. Susie gripped and released the handlebars without thinking, about to ask this weather woman to dismount when a male voice called over to them. The surprize made a parasite at a wound in the back of her neck scutter about her shoulders before finding another opening in her arm - still deciding what was hallucination and what was real, Susie Q hardly noticed.

The voice belonged to a dark skinned, tall young man standing a few metres away in an old leather coat - he had a friendly face, though looks were deceiving. "Yeah... He disagreed with our 'alternative lifestyle'." Susie replied, completely deadpan before a slight, wry smile broke, "Sick of dykes on bikes eating his carpet." She added, the critics in her head not impressed with such crass humor. Other screamed to drive on and through the library-chick at him. "Did you rob the op-shop, then?" She quipped back, fidgeting and trying to focus her brain on something other than vaguely offensive witticisms.

She remembered she had forgotten to take her seroquel this morning, the yelling and screaming and static invading her brain growing ever louder. Closer as the bug-men find you, crawl into your sin and own you like the rest... Her mind was knotting about itself.

The Slums, Shade Street

Seeing a bug crawl out from Susie's neck, the girl stares for a few seconds before getting off the motorcycle. Curving her back a bit as she stretches out her arms, they drop limply to her side as she looks towards the man. Seeming to think to herself a bit, she suddenly breaks into laughter and speaks in an oddly cheerful voice "Ex-Boyfriend, hilarious! And assuming our injuries was because of an abusive relationship, nice one! Just, hahaha, I don't know what's more funny! Thinking that's something you should even say at all, or thinking we're weak and dumb enough to get in an abusive relationship! Just, pfft, hahaha!"

Clutching her rather light chest, her laughter rather quickly calms down- Followed by her jumping a bit and straightening out her body. Turning towards Susie, the girl lightly nods in respect before speaking once more in that oddly cheerful voice. "Sorry for not saying anything sooner, that whole unexpected sequence of events had me going for a bit. Tazing is less fun than I thought it would be. Though, ahem, introductions. I'm Penelope Geneva, but I usually go by Penny Gear instead. I'm nineteen, relatively asexual, and have no idea what carpet is supposed to be a metaphor for. My dad already taught me romance is weird, so I don't want an answer."

Ground Zero

Looking at Martin, the bear narrows their eyes and speaks "No. That is why we train, so you can subdue them. When I first became Other, this form was worst and my original appearance did not exceed my limits. Now, I have learned how to better look human. This growth came as people tried to take me back. Let us go for now, so we can train somewhere safer from the Hunters. Promise not to hurt Brother too much."

Location Unknown, 11:17 AM

One sleek black car stopping in front of an apartment complex, two people proceed to get out: A young man with blonde hair and blue eyes anxiously scratching at his chest, along with a silver haired maiden dressed in white. Looking at the woman as she walks up the stairs, the man calls out "Hey, Sarah, you think boss man is gonna be mad? Bullets to the chest freaking hurts enough to count as punishment right?"

Looking back at him, the woman opens the door and simply speaks "He will decide when you explain yourself Samson." Muttering to himself a bit as he follows, he remains quiet as they take the elevator to the fifth floor. Stopping at the third door on the right, Sarah unlocks the door to find three men grouped together. Stepping in with Samson, two of the men turn around to look at them while the third smiles at seeing Sarah.

"Sarah, good to see you're back. I assume 'Ripper' caused a commotion? Honestly don't see anyone else-" The blonde haired man pointing at the one who spoke, Samson speaks up "One, its Ornias now, because some homicidal religious nutjob kept calling me a sinner! Two, I found a Host and was going to abduct-" Suddenly getting knocked to the ground by the white dressed woman, she calmly folds her hands together before speaking up.

"Unauthorized, Samson antagonized a female Host unaffiliated with us, needlessly causing chaos to fail bringing her here. Two other Hosts were in the area as well, another female who could generate bugs from her body and an effeminate male who seems to possess illusory abilities. However, Samson has formed a new Development, allowing him to reposition and shape his matter to repair wounds."

Rubbing his cheek, Samson looks up at Sarah with a faint snarl but stops as the darker dressed of the two unknown men speaks up. "My partner and I encountered Emily's killer, who we dropped off at the Eastern Library in hopes he would study to improve his abilities for our cause. We weren't aware the White Queen and 'Ornias' now were in the area. We apologize for foiling the addition of a new Host to Eldon."

Looking from this man to Samson, this black haired man sighs a little. "Well, our leaders will likely disapprove, but for now I see no need to punish anyone. Just make sure he doesn't kill anyone else of our organization." The dark clothed man nods his head a bit, he speaks briefly before leaving with his partner "Very well Cornelius."

With the door closed behind them, Samson looks up to Cornelius with a somewhat confused look. "Wait, wait wait wait... Emily's dead? And instead of killing her murderer, he was just allowed to roam a library free to murder anyone else? Is that what I'm getting here?"

Cornelius looking over to Sarah, she nods her head as well and speaks up. "Indeed, her hijacking of the Mayor's speech to calm the citizens was ruined due to your new friend executing her like a dog. He lives so far so we can decide if he has use to us."

Looking stunned and horrified, Samson speaks up once more. "W-what about her body? Her body was recovered right? R-right!?" Receiving only cold stares from Sarah and Cornelius, Samson's body breaks apart with a soft thud sounding outside the door as he disappears. Turning towards Cornelius, Sarah calls out a few sweetened words. "I do find it somewhat cruel we only told him now. Still, perhaps he'll be serious now."

The Outer edge of Ground Zero

Yecotis had excitedly babbled as he walked, nay, marched towards what he was sure was destiny. He was amazed at how the day had gone so far and he basked in the sun lighting his head. So many have seen the errors of their sinful ways. I'm here for a reason. Yes, he felt that he was indeed out and about for a reason... some sort of purpose-driven exploit or some sort yes, but he had to ask hmself an ugly question. He stopped and looked at himself in a decaying window on a blasted building. Dear, sweet, Yecotis, have you accomplished anyhting today? How many have been shown their wrongness? Enough. Just enough. Yecotis wanted to show the world how sinfull life is. My existence is proof of the world's sins. He became crest-fallen and thought, Something sought me out that day... was it the angel? Is that when I knew her... or had she always been there? Yecotis couldn't think of an answer- didn't want to press further into that. I exist... my purpsoe is to expunge evil from this life and the next. With that he continued on his travel, kicking up dust around him.

Ground Zero

What happened here, must have been glorious. This thought was above all others once Yecotis actually got to Ground Zero. Very close to the blast center. He swayed a moment as he took in the sheer mess of buildings and tattered bits of civilization strewn about. An increible feeling came over Yecotis. It felt more like a color. Close to pink, but not quite pink. The feeling of pinkness overcame Yecotis and images came to his mind, voices spoke framents of clues, an enormous eye in the sky opened up and emitted a giant laser as the world shook and caught fire... no, no... Yecotis was just standing. Standing and listening to the wind. There wasn't a gaaint eye in the sky, no lasers, and certainly no earth-shattering fire. Yet it had seemed so real to Yecotis. So intense and colorful compared to all the grey lifelessness surrounding him. Yecotis fingered the orb still in his pocket. They broke something here. They broke what they thoguht they were fixing. Yecotis muttered, "Damn fools!" before moving on.

Eventually, Yecotis could hear voices again. One was distinctly human, but the other changed too much for Yecotis to pin it down. He followes the sound of the voices untill he sees them. Yecotis looked at the one on the left first. What adorable glasses he's got on. Then Yecotis looked at the one on the right. My god, what a horrible looking shape-shifting monster. Let's introduce ourselves! Yecotis leaps out into the open and shouts, "Hello new friends! I promise not to attack you! We might be alike!"

The Slums - Shade Street''

Susie was a little taken aback by 'Penelope Gears' reaction to the stranger's joke, not sure if that level of hostile sarcasm was justified even if the humor was thoroughly unfunny. That and implying being in an abusive relationship could only happen to women of low intelligence and/or weaker mental constitution was a touch aggravating to her. "Never been abused, have you darling?" She muttered, swinging a leg over the bike to face the others properly and hanging her helmet on the front. Moreover, the fake laughter made the musician thoroughly uncomfortable, even sad - that and raised voices really keyed off her anxiety. She crossed her arms and fidgeted.

While Q had wanted know if the girl could be trusted, she felt the information about her sexuality, aromantic attitudes and ignorance of lesbian jokes unwarranted. "Be careful what you wish for, indeed. Ahem!" At least she knew to keep any advances, joking or otherwise, to a minimum, "I'm called, uh, Susie Q... Like the song, see. Heh." Ms Martin began awkwardly, not wanting to give her last name, "21-ish. I'm confused."

The Slums, Shades Street

[1]

Haile was, understandably, a bit weirded out by Penelope, but Susie seemed nice enough. "You two should probably head out now, to be honest. A lot of people here would just as soon pop a cap in your heads and nick the bike as look at you."

While Haile had been talking, a whistling sound had gradually grown louder. Suddenly, there was a huge BOOOOOOOOOOOOM sound, accompanied by a shockwave that threatened to topple over the nearby buildings. Haile turned around and immediately saw two things: His neighborhood on fire and bombed into ashes (which were also on fire), and his dad rocketing towards him in his wheelchair, without using his hands, with two bags of food on his lap, screaming... Something. Presumably it was "Get out of the way", so Haile got out of the way. As his dad shot past, Haile registered that the thing he was screaming was "Slow down! Slow down!"

About 10 minutes earlier...

The Slums, Haile's Apartment

[2]

Addisu sat in the living room, honestly at a loss as to what to do. After Haile had left and he had put the box back in its proper place, he had eaten (leftover Filet-o-Fish, yum yum), and then just milled around a bit, looking out the window occasionally. When he was bored like this, he usually talked to Haile, who was more than happy to oblige. But since Haile had left, he had nothing to do. At least, until he remembered their TV. He turned it on and switched to the news channel.

[3]

"-anywhere from Holofernes Street to Nonesuch Street and from Attic Bee Street to Edgeway Road must be evacuated. I repeat, the area from Holofernes Street to Nonesuch Street and from Attic Bee Street to Edgeway Road must be evacuated for heavy bombing. Bombing will begin in 10 minutes."

Addisu paled. Their apartment was in that area, on Park Lane. How was he going to get out in time? There must be some way he could go fast enough-

Suddenly, a sensation of speed, and WHAM.

When Addisu came to about 30 seconds later, he was half-out of his wheelchair (which he corrected in a hurry) and across the room, there was a massive dent in the wall, and people were yelling that it was a bomb. Fortunately, the walls were paper-thin, so Addisu was able to calm them all by saying not to worry, that it was only him dropping something. Once his neighbors were all calmed down, Addisu decided to find out what the hell just happened. Could it have to do with that odd black shape that had bowled him over a few days ago...? He tried thinking the word "Forwards", directing the thought at his wheelchair. To his surprise, the wheelchair moved forwards of its own accord! This was a great start, but the stairs would be a problem. Hmm... Addisu next tried thinking "Up", and to his delight, the chair began hovering a few inches off the ground. He grinned. Now this was a way to get around.

[4]

He grabbed two of the canvas bags Haile used for bringing back food, filled them up with canned goods, crammed his pockets with, among other things, the small amount of money he had, more food, and an old picture of him and Haile, which went in his shirt pocket, along with a pen, a spare house key, and a small knife. He unlocked the door, left the apartment, turned and locked up (their neighbors across the hall were thoroughly unpleasant, and sometimes tried to filch things from their apartment), and levitated himself down the stairs as fast as he could, then wheeled himself out the front door so as to look normal, and went a bit farther down the street that way, just to be safe. Then, when he was sure no one was watching, he thought "Top speed."

The wheelchair shot off so fast that Addisu could have sworn he broke the sound barrier at some point. After closing his eyes and reveling in the feeling of going faster than he ever had before, he opened them and saw Haile, two girls, and a motorcycle. His first thought was Well that was fast. This was a huge mistake. As the wheelchair went even faster somehow, Addisu's next thought was Slow down! Slow down! Decelerate! STOP!

The wheelchair, which had been slowing down gradually, immediately stopped in place, launching Addisu from the chair and onto the sidewalk on the opposite side of the road, where he lay, groaning and dizzy, and not a little bit giddy. "Haha... Ha... Hoo boy. C'mere." He beckoned to the wheelchair, which rolled over to his side. Addisu hoisted himself in, rode his wheelchair back over to Haile, and said, with a wicked grin on his face, "About time you started trying to get a girlfriend, son! I was worried about you!"

Haile had watched the entire thing from a good seven or eight feet away, and now was blushing furiously. "D-Dammit, Dad! Seriously, could you be any more embarrassing? I mean, I'm tellin' these girls they should scarper, since the people here are gonna want somethin' like that bike, and then I turn around for a second and I see our neighborhood turned to dust, you rocketing outta nowhere somehow and nearly killing yourself, and then you just get up and embarrass me like you didn't just come in like a bat outta hell?" Haile threw up his hands. "Sometimes I really don't know what to do with you-"

His sentence was abruptly cut off when Addisu pulled him into a bear hug. Haile, having lost his train of thought, shrugged as best as he was able and returned the hug. They stayed that way for a bit, then the two of them went over to Penny and Susie. "Ladies, this is my batshit-insane, ex-military dad who apparently turned into Super Wheelchair Man in the past ten minutes."

The person in question chuckled a bit at his son's description, before saying "Please, call me Addisu." and holding out his hand to shake.

The Remains of The Slums, Shades Street

Susie, understandably, had no clue how to react over the last few minutes since she and Penny had introduced themselves to this apparent native. All she knew is that she wanted to be out of downtown, curled up, eyes closed in a quiet corner of her university with her headphones full blast. However, with this quarantine that seemed a slim possibility for the future. She felt the bugs were everywhere, filling the air and her lungs and laughing with the contorted faces around her. Even the sky exploded and buildings burst into the parasitic monsters, screaming for her flesh to join theirs.

Sometime after the wheelchair sped past of its own volition and the slums burst into fiery destruction the girl opened her eyes - she hadn't realised they were shut, and that she was currently crouched beside her bike clutching her head in pain. The parasites crawled and buzzed about her body, almost as if protecting or even attacking her - it was hard to tell, even for their host. Apparently the wheelchaired man, Addisu, was the younger one's father and a good humored one at that. Susie took wat little control she had over her thoughts and urged the things back under her flesh, grunting quietly in discomfort as they obeyed, "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry..."

"Susie Q." She said finally, picking herself up and dusting off her clothes. Her arms were bleeding more now but at least she had regained the plot for the moment.

Addisu's expression became more concerned upon seeing Susie's condition, even as he tried not to show how squicked out he was. "Are you all right? Would you like some bandages for those nasty cuts you have? I think I packed some..." He began rummaging around in one of the bags for them.

Susie felt a little embarrassed for freaking out like she had - she was really starting to wish she had taken her meds this morning. At least it was a relatively short episode by her standards but the voices were still loud to the point of distraction. "No... No, thank you though. I'm - I'll be fine." She stammered, trying to smile in a reassuring manner to the others, "Well, as fine as you can be after a city block explodes in your face." Q added with a wry grimace.

"Your son didn't give his name, actually. But, maybe we should get out of this place before it, you knows, blows up."

Ground Zero

Martin couldn't help but wince at his companion's words. "Y-you're... a little scary when you say stuff like that, you know that 'Other'?" In spite of his words, Martin then let out a sigh with a soft smile. "Alright. We can talk more when we get where we're going. Just as long as we get out of here before they hear us."

It was of course at that exact moment in which a conspicuously loud though curiously carefree voice called out from nearby. "Hello new friends! I promise not to attack you! We might be alike!"

Martin couldn't help but stare wide eyed at the figure who had called to them. A stunned silence set in. At length, Martin decided it best to simply ignore this new fellow to address a more pressing concern. Turning to 'Other', he asked, "Do you think the Hunters heard that?"

Having turned to look at the destruction, Penny's eyes lingered there until Susie suggested they leave. Properly turning to look at the newest addition, Penny flashes an excited smile before calling out "Oh! So you and your son both have abilities? I haven't had anyone to talk to about this, so I'm glad I'm in safe company!"

Coughing a bit into her left hand, Penny straightens out trying to be serious and speaks. "We really shouldn't idle here though. Susie, do you know anywhere safe we could go? My home has already been cleared out, and that's the only place I knew well."

Ground Zero

Looking down at the newcomer, the bear sniffs the air a bit. "Hmm... His smell is distorted, yet seems like us. It is a horrible smell nonetheless, we must leave before something-" Before they could even finish, four spires suddenly pierce out of the ground surrounding the crater in a square formation. Generating an energy between each other, the 'Hunters' below look confused at what just happened- And outright startled as a booming mechanized voice shouts.

"YGGDRASIL SEED DETECTED, YGGDRASIL SEED DETECTED, YGGDRASIL SEED DETECTED, RELEASING DRACONIAN KNIGHT TO ELIMNATE FAILED PROTOTYPE"

With that call decreed, a screeching roar emits from the hole in the crater- Flying out of which is a hulking, humanoid armored covered winged monstrosity. Bellowing out another roar, the creature tucks in its wings as it dive bombs the 'Hunters' below. Grabbing one of them, the creature passes through the spire energy effortlessly about to roar again- When a rocket hits it. Shaking off the blast, it turns its head towards a collection of Military vehicles and troops armed with weapons.

Snarling at them, the creature bellows "The Yggdrasil seed is not yours, thus both you and it shall be eliminated!"

"Um, uh... Well I - but, err." Susie mumbled, looking around nervously and shifting her weight from foot to foot. She really didn't like the idea of strangers, let alone strangers with strange powers, hanging around her flat and knowing where she stayed. It was dangerous. What if they were working for them? Finally, looking at their faces she gave up, "Yeah. Yeah, I have a place." She sighed, shoulders slumping somewhat with the admission, "A flat, 10 blocks from here."

She had no idea why she was going to trust them to follow her home, but they did seem mostly harmless if nothing else. Susie Q mounted her bike and held the helmet thoughtfully, "I can go slow so you can all follow..."

Yecotis eyes widened when a mechanical looking animal-monster thing dropped from the sky and transformed into a terrifying dragon. Yecotis screamed then stopped when he heard a voice speak to him. One he didn't recognize, there was nothing familiar about it. It didn't sound human or inhuman, foriegn or alien, just different. He could only call it Other. 'We. Speak from. Not far from.' It pushed the presence of Blastizatchowhitz from his mind. 'Here. Speak truth into. Straight into your brain-skulls. Shoot truth. Shoot the truth.' It drove Yecotis to a great fury and he mentally pushed against the voice. As it fled it spoke, 'Speak truth. Later speak. Truth. Seek truth. Here and not here. Truth lies. Dead tell lies.' Then he felt the loving embrace of his insane angel and he felt like he could breathe again.

"Enough of madness!" He shouts, pulling out his gun. "Hey new friends, let's kill this thing to hell and maybe we can shoot lasers out of our mouths or something!....What? No, Blastizatchowhitz, I really do think they can use our help."

Ground Zero

Martin stared up in shock as the Draconian Knight fell upon the Hunters. "W-what is that thing!?" With a pale expression, he turned to 'Other'. "I don't think we can leave now. That 'Knight' will kill them if we don't find some way to stop it!" W-what am I saying? How are we supposed to stop it? ...But I can't just turn away having done nothing either. If these powers are good for anything, now's the time to learn how to use them. "We have to save them!"

Then turning to point at Yecotis, he yelled. "And you! This thing showed up when you started yelling; so gghg... ...Just..." Martin stopped himself. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't just order some random guy to fight a monster, regardless of how responsible he appeared to be. It was a moot point anyway. The man had already said something about killing it and shooting lasers. It seemed this lune was going to fight regardless of anything Martin said. "Whatever," Martin muttered at length. "I just hope this doesn't all come to a bad end."

Susie let out a small laugh when Haile mentioned the difficulties with using their apartment, "Yes, little details like that are a tad... troublesome, heh." She bobbed her head in a mock-thoughtful manner before handing her helmet to whomever wished to ride on the back, keeping the goggles for herself.

Bhrams Street

Susie Q had made sure to maintain a slow enough pace for the others to follow on the way to the flat, trying her best not to get confused or lost. Nevertheless, the voices were screaming to take off and leave them before it was too late - she ignored this but was worried they were right. This end of town was a step up from the slums but not precisely high living. There were puke stains on most walls and fragments of objects best left unexamined. Naturally, a lot of musicians lived about these parts.

There was a smashed, old style T.V a few metres from a red-brick building - Martin stopped and looked up to a broken and duct-taped window, "Here we are. Uh, mind the stains." She annouced to the others, dismounting and bringing her bike to park in a convenient alcove. "This way." She encouraged, happy to be somewhere familiar and trying not to think about bringing these guys in.

Susie's Flat

Q stood at the door for a few moments of hesitation before opening it and stepping into a surprisingly clean room, given the surroundings. Barring the writings over much of the furniture and some walls it was in good order. The wall paper was almost entirely peeled away in the current room, a combination living room and kitchen - instruments of great quality were carefully positioned about the floor with a few milk crates acting as chairs around a battered table. In the corner was a sink, stove and a few battered cupboards, "Sorry - it's not quite Buckingham Palace."

Yecotis quickly sliced his arm with his knife and drew his seal with the blood. Yecotis felt more at ease when he did this. It was like leaving a little of himself here and there, like he could feel the city pulsing beneath the marks he's left in the last few days and today. Damn, today was amazing so far... the dragon thing... It must die...

Yecotis made himself appear taller and larger than he really was and made his voice booming and intimidating. "I AM DISTRACTING... OOWOO LOOK AT ME DRAGON!" He shouted as he danced around the dragon thing trying to get its attention.

Addisu, after looking around, shrugged and said "True, but I like it. Rather a step up from what Haile and I are used to."

Haile nodded in agreement. "Yeah, at least you've got something to sit on in your kitchen. We've just got some rickety table and the counter, and the sofa in the living room."

Both of them tried not to mention the writing on the walls, or look at it too closely.

Martin watched blankly as Yecotis cut himself and grew in size. Oh great... So he's just completely insane. He's an insane, rampaging giant. Wonderful.

Turning quickly to the 'Bear', Martin quickly explained, "Other, we're going to have to rely on your strength. If it's alright with you, I'm going to need you to take that thing to the ground. Take out it's wings if you can and try to pin it down.

"I don't think Mister Crazy is any stronger, even if he is bigger. Otherwise he'd just punch the thing, I'm sure. So that's why it has to be you. Considering a rough guestimation of what you did to that transport earlier, you should be able to do it. Once it's on the ground, I'll get in close and try to use my Power on it. ...I don't even know if it'll work on something like that. But I have to try at least. Maybe if my power is strong enough I'll be able to override that thing's will to fight or something."

Martin let out a sigh. He like he was pretending to be something he wasn't, asking Other to help him like that, but what choice did he have? He wasn't strong enough to do this on his own. He had no choice but to rely on the strength of others.(no pun intended) "...Just be careful if you do this. You're not allowed to die either."

Bhrams Street - Susie's Flat

Susie smiled a little to Addisu and Haile in relief, glad they didn't find her flat to scummy or off-putting. "Thanks, it's not bad around hear apart from weekends and Friday night, heh." She often tried to avoid looking at the messages she had left herself and so understood their avoidance of examining the writings, "Feel free to take a seat or put your stuff down wherever." She waved her hand around, placing her own bag beside an upright piano in the middle of a wall - Q saw her seroquel sitting on the table and snatched it up on the way to the kitchen sink. After a moments hesitation she dry swallowed a pill, keeing her back to the others so they wouldn't have to see.

She felt as if the voices were quieting down already but that was just the placebo effect - it would tae hours to get any real effect, including the unpleasant side effects. Still, it was better than going completely psychotic, "Oh, do you guys want any tea? Coffee? Water?" She turned and smiled in an apologetic manner, wringing her hands nervously and looking at cupboards like see was trying to remember if she still had any, "Sorry, I'm not sure what ind of beverage is appropriate for post-explosion discussions between super-powered peoples." She joked, having a thought to ease the uncomfortable silence and diving into an adjacent cupboard.

Susie Q emerged a moment later with a battered stereo and a stack of C Ds. "So, I'm guessing you guys don't know what the hell is going on with all these... well, goings on do you? I mean, that bomb-shadow-thingy a few days ago was strange enough without quarantines, military and god knows what..." She rambled, plugging in the device and putting a random CD on as background music.

Addisu shook his head. "I'm fine without anything to drink." Haile, however, said "Water for me, please."

While Haile was occupied drinking his water, Addisu responded for them both. "I'm afraid we don't know any more than you do about this." He cocked his head to one side, listening to the musis and nodding in appreciation. "I like it. Sounds very James Bond."

Susie plonked herself down on a milk crate by the others after retrieving the water for Haile, trying not to fidget too much and herself sipping on water. She was glad Addisu liked the music, the band being one of her great influence, "Yeah, they have a really interesting sound. They're called 'The Barons of Tang', Australian band." Q explained, "I love studying their compositions... I'm a music student, see. Cut off from uni now, though, along with everything else. I don't now how long anyone can stay here, the way downtown is going." She added, biting her lip anxiously.

Susie silently debated with the voices whether or not to let these people stay here much longer and if she even wanted to remain there. She thought about Haile and Addisu's home being destroyed and while she didn't want them to live on the street she didn't know anything about them. But, they seemed to have 'powers' like her. "I liked this town better when it was only druggies and hoods you had to worry about..."
