Aight I'm back at it again with another roleplay idea
So, the roleplay I thought of is based on Epithet Erased, and uses the mechanics of Anime Campaign [It's kinda like a very simplified Dungeons & Dragons game]. Does it sound interesting?
artsy geek | any pronouns | "well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice."I have some ideas lingering in my head:
1. Suicide Squad-inspired Supervillain Black Ops RP. You are human-level or average superhuman level criminals that either volunteered or was forced to become a part of the superhuman black ops squad. You will definitely fight villains, crime lords and, maybe, even heroes...
2. Biopunk. Maybe sandbox, maybe more focused. You can play as any type of character, as long as they fit with the thematic of biopunk.
3. Post-Apocalypse where the AI Gods rule the remnants of humanity. These A.I.s are based upon mythological gods like Zeus, Odin, Quetzalcoatl, Ra and etc. P Cs can get cybernetic blessings from them.
4. Urban Fantasy High School setting. Where you can play as mages, vampires, werewolves, fairies and stuff.
Everything that lives is designed to end.Would anyone be interested in a Grand Strategy RP or a Nations Game?
Grand Strategy RP's are where instead of playing a single character, you play as a country or a faction. They tend to be popular on forums like Alternate History and Space Battles but I kind of want to bring them to TV Tropes.
I did have an idea but it's kind of niche, and that is an RP that is both a Grand Strategy RP and a crossover RP where you'd pick characters from other works (or OC's) and have them in key positions in whatever nation or faction you play as.
It'd be assumed that this would be an AU scenario similar to "Once Upon A Multiverse" where the characters are alternate equivalents or reimagined versions.

Awesome
If we're doing this Grand Strategy RP, what kind of time and setting would you want for it?
Ancient/Medieval? Early Modern/Industrial Revolution? Modern and Near Future?
Obviously, sci-fi and fantasy elements will be included since it's a crossover multiverse game any way you slice it

Maybe it could be something like some sort of alternate universe Earth without humans has been discovered so people from across the universe go to war trying to claim it for the resources. That was just my initial thought though I'm sure there are tons of other set up ideas.
Anyone interested in A Fusion Fall RP that has the world essentially become Fallout? If so, here:

It would be set during the fall of Raccoon City
Specifically, the game would start out in July of 1998, around the time of the Mansion Incident depicted in Resident Evil 1
Then it would progress as the outbreak seeps into the city and gets worse, culminating in the massive city-wide apocalypse seen in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Multifandom hangout roleplay is cool.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.like murderfree but not specific to the murderverse
