This RP startup thread has recently hit a bit of a roadblock since the GM is currently unresponsive to any P Ms or the thread itself. I don't really know what to do in this situation, since I don't want to hijack the thread to start it up (and I'm currently busy with some real life affairs) and some the players' questions have gone unanswered. I want to find someone willing to help start it up, but I'm not sure it's the best idea without the GM's permission. Is there anything I could do in this case?

Happy Holidays everyone! Some of you might remember the    Night of the Krampus    [1] game we ran here last Xmas. Well we are trying to run it again, this time live on Discord (but still using text not voice) but we need at least two more players. Synopsis: The demon Krampus wants to destroy Christmas once and for all. With only children immune to his magic, five mysterious christmas presents end up granting five orphaned children super powers! Is this a mission from Santa himself!? And can they save Christmas Day?

Rule system is BASH (Basic Action Super Heroes) but don't worry you don't have to know the rules, I do (another advantage of my Discord channel is that it has a dice simulator enabled.) Note we will be using pregenerated characters though, you must pick one.

We'll begin as soon as we have five confirmed players. Playtime is going to be evenings from now until New Year's Day (though it will be just a couple of days at most.) So if you're interested, check the link below!

I've started an Urban Fantasy RP based on elements from Stranger Things, IT, and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, if anyone's interested.

So, I'm considering starting up a smaller side RP as Lovely Magician Savvy was expressing interest, for a magical girl RP. I had already thought up a freeform system to use to potentially launch my own version of Nodrog's "grizzled veterans turned into magical girls" hijinks plot idea, so I want to know: How many people would be up for a magical girl RP in the first place, and whether they'd want to go with Savvy's idea of a more traditional magical girl style, or the sillier grizzled veterans idea.

For a little more info, Savvy's idea was going to involve time travel and the player characters being from different eras of time.

Or perhaps, just because, you would be interested in mixing the two somewhat and letting players pick either a normal girl or a grizzled veteran turned girl?

Anyway, I made a simple straw poll.

If there's some interest, I'll make a interest/brainstorm thread to finalize how the system would work.

I would be interested in this magical girl RP.

I couldn't get the idea out of my head, so despite not getting a whole lot of shown interest just yet, I've gone ahead and made an interest check thread.

I've got two ideas since two of my previous RPs haven't been going as strong.

First idea is a Weird West set story focusing on some lost gold and a army of automatons from a new benefactor to the Confederacy, so a army of robot cowboys of sorts.

Second is a more Dieselpunkish fantasy adventure set in a sky world with airships and planes galore.

You know, would anyone want to bring the defunct "Reality Show Crossover" back again? Its been tried in AGOG but never got super far off the ground both times, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't due to lack of interest with the concept.

So who would want to try it again, possibly separate from A Game of God's?
