Well, maybe they mean that thee deaths could be used for plot convenience when so needed?By the way, I find this interesting. What kind of dangers exactly would be hiding behind the walls of the city? How did it come about? Or do you plan on keeping this a secret to be gradually uncovered?

To be fair, I have a bit of an idea for a RP (another one) too.

It's based off Frank R. Paul's illustrations and pulp fiction in general. Humanity has discovered many other races in the galaxy, and especially in the Solar System: the latter is, in fact, united in an entity known as the Solar Association. However, tensions run high between the governments of the Association, especially between Earth and Mars, due to politicians of Mars suspecting that the humans may challenge their position in the System and, of course, the Martian pirates, who return to plunder the open space, spaceships, and planets again. Of course, they attempt to plunder the colonial spaceships visiting the star systems of outer space, which is worrying. Alongside the pirates, many simple adventurer crews fly through space in search for riches. Of course, not all horrors lie in space - some lie inside Earth...

You are one of such adventurers. Your background doesn't matter, whether you are male or female, an Earthman, a Mercurian or a Plutonian, a teacher or a soldier. Take a look into space, the world of the future.

Outer space here:

What particular details do you think I should add? Thoughts?

Any idea for a name?

Not much. Looks pretty tubular.

How about... Space Pirates? A bit of an antagonistic title.

Would anyone be interested in a Magical Girl Monster Hunting roleplay? So, here's the story- The player characters are essentially prototype Super Soldiers, having become Magical Girls because of government experimentation on the monsters. The player characters will only have four static abilities (primarily offensive, defensive, and mobile alongside a weapon), though by collecting monster parts the government can develop equipment for them to use.

There will be a gradually revealed Plot though, and you the Players won't be forced to take missions- Just you can't move up the ranks and gain a broader/stronger arsenal if you lounge about. Though there'll also be stuff to do outside monster hunting, and in fact dealing with crime would also help you move up the ranks.

Finally, I can promise there'll be no "You become the monsters!" reveal because quite frankly, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is too well known for anyone else to pull that off. Still no intention for this to be a normal Magical Girl roleplay, so expect some Playing With to take place.

Reviving an RP idea with a covert anti-paranormal agency with agents investigating (an eventual) events that ties in with some of their old cases.

One way or the other, it could change.

Anyone down for a horror RP inspired by Silent Hill? I probably won't have the evil cult plot and maybe just have the characters try to get out of a seemingly abandoned town before having shit hit the fan. It might have character deaths or at least devastating injuries.

Hello, greg!

A horror RP? Sure, but what kind of plot does it have?

Also, I have made a signup thread for the 'Pulp System' RP.

How about the town itself isn't actually real and everyone inside is actually stuck inside a sort of limbo. That could make escape a bit harder than just walking out. And maybe the players simply wake up there as opposed to just entering the town.

As for Pulp System, I'll read through it and have a character sheet up soon.

Huh. Is the town empty, aside from all kinds of Eldritch Abominations?

It would start out empty before freakish beasts slowly but surely spawn in. Other than that, the players would be the only humans in the town.

Well, I assume that the Town will be some sort of purgatory.

And you, Sergey_Smirnov. Are you interested in retrofuturistic science fiction R Ps?

Retrofuturistic? Like Perry Rhodan? Not too much to be honest, I mean maybe if its really interesting yes, but likely no, sorry

Bit of update from previous post.

Basically, the story idea is to explore cases that may have some signs of the paranormal and if they do, if humans are using them for their own ends (crime/terrorism/etc).

The Myth Arc angle I want to explore is that someone has it out for the agency. It'll start with a seemingly unrelated case that'll build up later on...

I realize that my timing couldn't be worse, with the other Final Fantasy RP, but would anyone be interested in a Final Fantasy D20 RP?

Aand a little similar to above: anybody wants some superhero RP utilizing actual system? Highlight points

  • System wise: I'll build you your characters and after that the system itself is very simple in execution. You'll sign up basically the same as your usual RP, with basic concept for your powers, and then I will work out with you what those powers exactly are.
  • Roleplay wise: I'll run it starting with a published adventure, in which you start in a city which had an unusually low population of caped activity in it, and you'll be right on the scene when that status quo will radically change. (Including you possibly not having any powers prior to that and getting them in this event.) Actual course of action in the RP will be mostly free (i.e. I'll throw you options for building your superhero team, but you can just go off and make it on your own) although some definite rails are to be expected (you're heroes, you are not going to slack off during a villain attack)

So, anybody interested?
