Walt Disney's Dungeon Crawler! An RP with a series of Adventurers with us playing as D&D-ish versions of Disney Characters. Anyone from Disney's animated slue of characters are up for grabs as they search for money and glory-and maybe some damsels-in this rather tongue-and-cheek rules light game if anybody is interested.
@Savato: Well if you and anyone else are interested, it's just over here.

Anyone interested in an RP based off of old-school D&D?
I had an idea for an open-ended Wide-Open Sandbox D&D game set in a generic fantasy setting of my own creation using a simplified system (most likely Microlite20 or maybe a retro-clone of the Original D&D system from the 70's like Swords and Wizardry, although I am leaning more and more towards Microlite20)
I do own the 5th Edition Player's Handbook but I am still learning the rules, so I am unsure if I can join the current Japanese-themed 5e game on here.
What I intend to make is a Wide-Open Sandbox D&D game in the style of the earliest days of D&D, before a lot of things were codified and defined. A lot was open to interpretation by the GM and there were few if any defined settings and tropes (You had Blackmoor and Greyhawk, but they were nowhere near as expansive in the old days as they would later become).
We would start out with four base classes (Fighter, Mage, Cleric, Thief) and four base races (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Halfling) but the race and class selection will expand as the game expands. Also, players can consult with me and work in other D&D races and classes or even play things not usually found in D&D today. (For example, the earliest editions of D&D from the 70's briefly mentioned robots, aliens, and androids as potential monsters to encounter and even mentioned Mars as a possible place to run campaigns).
Essentially I want to run an old-school sandbox D&D game on these forums and I am wondering if there is any interest.
I found a PDF that compiles all the Original D&D material into one document, we will probably use this or a variant thereof for the base rules.

However, if you guys prefer Microlite20 to OD&D, we could use that instead.

Excellent
I will be making this old-school D&D RP very, very soon. I will also GM a second RP at the same time, an old-school first edition Vampire The Masquerade RP using only either the 1st or 2nd edition corebook and keeping all the Early-Installment Weirdness that entails.
I have nothing but free time this summer, so I can actually maintain two RP's.
I'd like to be an elven fighter for the Dn D RP. I am on vacation for two weeks starting today, though, so that may affect my posting. I think I'll have good wifi where I'm going.

“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertWatching the second Space Battleship Yamato 2199 movie I am a bit in the mood for a RP set in this.
My basic idea would be to have it be 2 years after the Anime, the Cosmo Reverser has fixed Earth, peace between Earth and Gamillas has settled somewhat and the UNCF decides its time to go out again, to explore.
Setting would be a new ship, basically a slightly scaled down Yamato (the Armored Cruiser to its Battleship so to speak) which has the job to I. explore II. find colony worlds for humanity and III. scout for pirates/Dessler Loyalits/Gatlantis
Basically a fusion out of Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and Star Trek Enterprise.

But chances are world politics is far more complex than that, so...
