Hi,

Encountered this bug while trying to upload an image:

1. Went to https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/imguploader.php

2. Clicked "choose file" upload content button.

3. In file browser, selected an image file, clicked open button.

4. Page raises "Error updating remote server" warning, instead of loading image re-size / image crop frame.

Was able to reproduce bug in Chrome and Firefox, with multiple png and jpg files.

Saw the same issue (Firefox 35.0.1 on Windows 7) a while ago, too.

Thanks for the heads up - we will get that fixed.

I also have problems with uploading images.

At first, it appears to be uploading just fine, but after clicking on the "Submit cropped image", the page goes blank, and the image doesn't get uploaded. Refreshing the page won't work.

[up] The image uploader is fixed. Try deleting your cookies. Also, what browser/version, OS/version, and device are you using?

OS: Windows 8 Browser: GC

Shouldn't have any cookies since I'm using Incognito.

Private/incognito browsing still stores temporary session cookies; otherwise you couldn't remain logged in from one page click to the next.

[up]Well, either way, it's not working. I tried using Firefox as well, and still has the same results.

I'm having the same issue. I'm running Firefox 40.0.3, on a Windows 7 laptop.

Are we approaching a solution? I am sitting on a pile of images to be uploaded.

drewski has said on Moderator Skype that it's fixed now.
