I'll find it weird, but accept it.
TNP is on a very long roller coaster with their favorite villain sitting right next to them... while an large eldritch thing is chasing the coaster behind them at about the same speed that's trying to eat them.

I'd lose weight running around (not being athletic and out of shape I would take it easy at first) and it would make on foot trekking to downtown faster without resorting to public transportation.
