Same problem.
Was Claude Lv 250 (no spaces) on the old site, tried registering the account here. Verification email never showed up. Can't sign in, can't get it resent, my account is essentially useless.

Verse Chorus Verse, same as the first!
Got logged out, tried to log in after the redesign, couldn't, asked for a reset, never reached my inbox.
I'm using 1And1 webmail for my regular account (ImmortalFaust) but for some reason Gmail worked fine for this account.
I am the end to all your dreamsMore or less the same tune here. Changeover -> Password not recognised -> no associated email to account (Reg Shoe) -> Requested reset -> account recreated -> email never arrived.
Reg Shoe here. Currently more or less unable to use site or get into my account thanks to switchover issues. I'm not bitter, just British.i had a similar problem, except i was unable to even request a new password since it didn't recognize my old email. even with that, it didn't let me make a new account WITH that email since it said that it was already taken despite not being recognized—it's the whole reason i'm using this second account right now
Do we have any advice on feedback on the way? I would kinda like to edit articles and stuff. Just being told it is being looked into would be nice.

Well, as my replacement account had been tied to my main account, I had to use my work account, which I can't give out here. I don't know the specifics the system.

Not the full address, of course, but it would help if we could establish a common cause of failure.
Example: gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com
We do block domains that are known anonymizers, but it's possible that the blocklist got a bit overzealous.

^ As 1&1 (from your first post in this thread) is the parent company of mail.com, if it is a result of overzealous anonymizing address blocking that would at least make sense. My account with mail.com is a premium one, but they do also offer "freebie" accounts, like Juno and Hotmail.

We are having some serious issues with the account creation system. There are ten years of various blocks/bans/filters/etc. that we are sifting through to figure out what can go and what can stay. I'll put this on the high priority list and see if we can have a resolution for everyone by the end of the week.
All right, yeah, this seems to be taking forever. I know you guys have a ton of stuff on your hands with the redesign and issues with that, so waiting isn't a problem, but the radio silence is bugging me. Drewski said they'd try to have something figured out by the end of the week....two weeks ago. Not going to complain about the wait, just the lack of updates, should there be any.
I am the end to all your dreamsYet another victim of email issue here.
My original account's email is tied to AOL Mail. When I tried to log in last month, I realized that I've forgotten my password, and submitted a request for password reset several times. No email ever came to my AOL Mail account, not even in the spam folder. So I created my alt account using my college email address (server is Zimbra, if I'm not mistaken.) It took WEEKS before a confirmation email finally showed up on my other email address.
I know staff are working hard to resolve this issue, but how long would it be?

I was originally here as Nohbody, but when the site switched over to the new setup it logged me out, and I couldn't remember my login info, so I requested a reset, sent to the previously registered mail.com address.
However, the reset e-mail never reached my inbox, and wasn't intercepted by a spam filter.
I tried registering two other names, Imnohbody with a charter.net account, and Imnohbody1 with a juno.com account, and neither one ever got the new account confirmation e-mail. I finally got this one, with a gmail.com address as the registered contact point.
Is there any way I can get my original Nohbody account up and running, so I can nuke these extra ones and get my old "read forums" info and watchlist back?
[edit] Also, in the initial version of this post apostrophes and quote marks had the backslash for escaping things out showing, though after the edit they disappeared, and never appeared in
