Sam had finally managed to relax, and it seemed like a comfortable routine was going to await him at Beacon. As he waited on Isabelle to respond, though, a massive crashing noise derailed his train of thought into a river, where it exploded on contact with the water.
He turned around just in time to see the cage slam back into the ground and start thrashing more. That did not at all give him any good vibrations, and his hands drifted down to the black boxes at his hips, resting around the carry handles.
"Anyone else kinda freaked out about the jumping crate there? Because I'm kinda freaked out about the jumping crate."

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Amy sighed. "I hope you guys don't break any desks or anything."
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. That piece of paper that James saw blow down the hallway ended up falling right near Iris' feet as she walked with Morgan. Iris then stopped for a second to pick up the sheet of paper, and began taking a look at what was on it.
"W-what's this?", she said.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"Amberley, keep an eye on it."
Understood, Miss Isabelle. The AI piloting Isabelle's armor aimed a transformed cannon-arm at the cage, ready to fire at whatever hostile force was in there.
"The hell were they thinking just bringing that here without any supervision?"

Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%..."A Grimm of sorts, I'm guessing." Raggy frowned, unfolding a pool cue in his hand and resting it on the floor as he stared at the cage. "Best not to disturb."
He did notice those janitor types carrying them in here, but now that the info about Prof. Port's absence has been confirmed, would they carry them back? Or would they be left here?
...was this the "self-study"? Knowing who was in charge of this school, Raggy found it a feasible theory.

Overhearing Selene, Sam looked back to them for a moment. "Jesus. I get one-on-one combat with a Grimm to test your skills, but why the hell would they just send a box of Grimm in here without any supervision? I mean, I get we'd be able to take it down, but that just seems plain irresponsible."
He immediately turned his attention back to the box, still not liking anything about the current situation.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""Welcome to Beacon." Lena told Sam dryly. "At least you weren't launched off a cliff."
"Hang on, let me see what's inside." The princess declared, flaring her Semblance to peek.
"Eep!" Lena yelped and jumped backwards, accidentally hitting her head on a wall.
"That. Is. Disgusting."
As if the thing heard her, the crate began shaking even harder.
"...no sign of teachers or anyone else so far, I guess that's a good sign for the moment." James murmured, wandering through the hallways and probably getting himself a bit lost.
The piece of paper seemed like it belonged out of some sort of book, with the writing done by a pen rather than typing, with surprisingly enough, last Friday's date written on the top corner. ...It seems like it's a page out of a diary.
Iris could read it, if she so wished.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Classroom
"I get the feeling my next few years are going to be absolute fun," deadpanned Sam. As Lena peeked inside and voiced her resentment of what was inside the crate, whatever was in there shook even harder, as if simply to spite her.
He maneuvered over to Lena, still keeping both hands on the boxes at his hips. "Lena? What was in there?"
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""I-It looks like a journal p-page...do you want t-to read it with me, M-Morgan?", Iris asked her partner.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015"....A creature from the depths of hell." Lena said, glaring at the thing. "We're not going to open it. We are keeping it locked up there where it can't use its damn tentacles on me. That is disgusting and wrong on so many levels."
She clung to her boyfriend, shuddering. "Ughhh..I need brain bleach."
....And then a single black, slimy tentacle busted out of the crate, making a rather large hole in it.
"....Shiznit."
"OK! Grimm time!" she said taking out her guns and merging them. She summoned three wolves to surround the beast.

"Oh you are fucking kidding." Sam pulled both boxes from his hips. Pressing his middle finger down on the locking button, he proceeded to flick both of his wrists.
The boxes unfolded, the bottom halves detaching and snapping back into backstocks. A stubby foregrip, and a large pistol grip, fell from the top half as Sam unfolded his Shatterstens.
Tossing them into the air with a slight sideways rotation, he caught them sideways by the pistol grip as six relatively short focusing strands - not unlike a gun's flash hider - extended from the front of the weapon. Flicking the fire selector with each of his thumbs he set the weapon to "Kill" mode, and the Shatterstens flared into life, a glowing, lime green line blazing into life as two aiming lasers emitted from the barrels and the internal powerplant started with a whine that steadily increased in pitch. The handles on top folded down, and the holographic sights activated, two green reticles
◊ popping up into existence.
Sam kept both weapons trained on the crate, but kept both of his fingers away from the triggers.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Raggy's brow furrowed further. Then, without a single thought he raised the pool cue and hurled it right into the hole, his Semblance turning it into a deadly javelin, intent on putting down whatever scared his girlfriend so badly, whatever made her injure her head in an accident.
Although his face remained calm, his eyes did not. He was closer to his mood back when Nat slapped Lena across the face than anything else.

Shrugging, Connor responded to Amy "I like tae get practice in whenever I can, plus I'm nae going tae object to sparrin' wi' a lass wha' uses a style like hers"
Then of course the cage started making noise.
"Now I want tae put down the beastie what's in that cage."
