New Pokemon Snap info.
Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Seems to be one-to-one remakes done by the people behind Pokemon Home in a chibi style in the overworld. Late 2021 release.
Pokemon Legends Archeus. Open World game set in rural Sinnoh to create the region's first Pokedex. Releases early 2022.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Not to mention how character gatekeeping has gotten so much worse this cycle with speculation where some people are more invested in hoping characters are rejected just to enjoy people's disappointment. Smash has had image issues for years, maybe even during Melee, but it feels far more petty and bitter this time.
Agreed 100%. It sucks when you are a fan of more niche franchises because you'll have people saying "fat chance" despite none of the currently popular characters getting in either. It took us years to get Ridley, K. Rool, and Banjo. The fanbase just needs to be accepting of all characters. Does not mean that you have to like them, but understand that other people do like this character. Yes, this even goes for Byleth.
This reminds me, once all 11 character packs are released, it is likely that we won't hear anything from Smash anytime soon, both because the latest game will be very difficult to be outdone, and because fans will probably need an extended period of time moving on from character speculation.
In the meantime, it will then be the perfect time for Mario Kart 9 to be announced.
I'd like to not hear from Smash for a long while. I don't think I could take another speculation cycle. There is also no real "right" way to play Smash. This is kinda why I dislike competitive play. It's the toxicity that comes with it and the refusal to play any way other than the legit most boring way ever.
RE: Pokemon:
While I didn't watch, it's nice to have Gen 4 remakes.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!2014. The Hoenn remakes came out in twenty-fucking-fourteen. From November of that year, to November of this year.
FR/LG released 2004, HG/SS 2009, ORAS 2014. But now we're up to seven years between.
Guess I'll check back in '28 to see how things are going with whatever console we're on then.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyIt's the latest pattern of American generations getting the "sequel" game and the European generations getting the "past game remake" game, with that weird Let's Go game shoved in the middle.
ASAB: All Sponsors Are Bad.I'm looking forward to these games, even if BDSP's character artstyle isn't to my taste. I'm indifferent on that.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*It's not homebrew this time they're fixing, but instead making sure websites visited on the browser are secure
