Nothing really piqued my interest except that Ghibli-looking game.
Good to hear that Dicey Dungeons and Superliminal are getting Switch releases.
Heads up, Exit the Gungeon is available on the eshop.
I Am Dead looks pretty interesting. I'll be keeping an eye on that one.
Managed to watch it now. Like I said, I cannot afford digital purchases, so I'll be unable to get any of those games, but I'm glad for those looking forward to them.
Normally I'm not that excited for Indies, but there were a few nice looking ones like I am Dead, Summer in Mara and The Good Life.
This one wasn't really for me, but I'm glad I watched it. Back to Murder By Numbers!

This whole direct feels like it would have been a lot more impactful a month and half ago, but at least they got it out.
I've never played Arms, but I'm pretty excited as the character will be distinct and I'm always happy to see any First Party Fighter get in.
They really did just remember AR Ms existed in the last month. The graphic novel finally gets an update on what it'll come out, they announced a tournament for it, and now this.
Well, that was a Mini Direct for a reason.
Ooh, I played Episode I Racer a lot on PC back in the day. With that and the Jedi Academy ports I'm hoping this paves the way for the mythical Rogue Squadron collection.
Good Job looks like a fun game to play, I might just get that.
When I saw the 2K logo, I jokingly thought to myself "Borderlands". I didn't think they'd actually bring the first few games over!
See, this is why I never trust "leaks" and "rumors". They have been boasting about a supermassive direct with games like "Odyssey 2", "Geno for Smash", or "Galaxy 3". I'd say this will lead people to not put hopes for rumors to be true, but... who am I kidding?
The Grinch leaks should have been the last straw but nooooo
I am bitter right now. Leaks giving me false hope. But as you say until I see them again... Bravely Default II looks interesting.
Haha, Geno for Smash blown out again, it's going to be someone from ARMS.
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition looks gorgeous. Holy crap, there are moments where it barely looks like the same game.
I still question that naming scheme. We already have a Bravely Second, calling the next thing Bravely Default 2 is just asking for confusion.
Anyways, I would expect full summer direct to have more large titles versus this one just having Xenoblade. Just cause everyone else's E3 got cancelled doesn't mean Nintendo's gonna redraw their schedule. Releasing this one here lets them get started on advertising for Xenoblade, and with that out at the end of May, they can have free reign in a June "E3" direct to announce big stuff without cutting into its marketing or sales.
Plus Japan's fiscal year cycles on April 1st. Between Animal Crossing and this they have a nice cap off to this year, and assurance of something big for the next Q1.
Yeah this trailer did wonders to reassure any reservations I had of the revamped art being too Xenoblade 2-ey. This game looks exactly as fantastic as it deserves - which is all the fantastic.

Speaking as someone who never played Xenoblade, hearing Shulk in actual conversations is weird compared to his lines and quips in Smash.
Not so fast my duderino
ARMS charactrs are already in as an Assist Trophy and as Spirits. If any of those five are playable then the "Spirits deconfirm" rule is blown out of the water.

Still waiting for them to confirm Kazuma Kiryu, bloody cowards.
