Sounds like a plan.
Though it's not going to stop discussions in the various threads, I assure you.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. But that can happen later. The initial reactions could be in here.
I support this. I hate having to go to every other thread just to see what people think.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Predictions!
- Star Fox footage!
- Amiibo stuff!
- DLC for... Something! Maybe even Bayonetta!
- Erm, something for the 3DS. Can't think of anything. MAYBE METROID THO.
Splatoon release date plz.
I have a message from another time...Like the chump change broken record I will always be:
A new Tales Series game for Wii U.
There. I've fulfilled my tradition. I figure I can keep it up for two or three more times before someone rightfully tells me to shut the fuck up.
And then I'll be full of the sads.
One Strip! One Strip!Splatoon I'm hoping and expecting.
Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem I'm just hoping.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughFour problems with that:
- The definitive versions of Tales games have always been on Sony hardware. There are exactly zero exceptions to this rule as far as I can tell by skimming through the release list. If you want to play one so badly, you know the solution already.
- Based on point 1, the fanbase wouldn't bother with the Wii U version and would anticipate the PS 4 release a few months down the line. The fanbase was already fooled once with Vesperia.
- The RPG market remains primarily in Sony's corner. Even now, an RPG would perform better on Vita or PS 3, and only a few are making the jump to the newest home consoles... only on the PS 4, though.
- Zestiria is a thing.
I'm fairly certain I've told you this already, so no need to repeat it more times.

You have, but I fully admit I don't learn, and I'm kinda stubborn.
The first point alone is proof of the pointlessness of that request.
Hell, they didn't even bother to fix the problems with the Wii version of Graces before porting it to PS 3 and then bringing that version over.
But like a fool who keeps staring into the sun, I keep desperately hoping they might do it.
I don't even have any hopes of a port of a previous game to Wii U.
......Shit. Should have stayed in denial.
Ah well. Xenoblade Chronicles X is coming. I won't miss that one the way I did the original.
One Strip! One Strip!Ah, just in time.
It's like E3 (almost) every month.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Oh, this is a newer thread so that's why I didn't know about it.
Hi guys! Really hoping for some Mewtwo, Starfox, Mario Party, and Xenoblade X previews!
It is, I was pretty upset at first when Nintendo said they were going to stop with the big E3 panels and just going to Directs, but now I love them because we get new Nintendo game coverage throughout the year! With E3 still getting the most news!
It's mainly just for live reactions as to not spam the main threads with them.

Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756I did not know this thread existed. I've always discussed games announced in Directs on their appropriate series or console thread.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's at least better than hoping for a Disgaea game on Wii U. Or Steam...
Signatures are for lamers.@Zel: We can still do that, but maybe use this one for live reactions. You can have in-depth discussions in the respective threads.
This isn't a hard and fast rule, but it'd be nice.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThe fact that Nintendo AU tweeted a picture of the F-Zero DLC for Mario Kart 8 to go along with this announcement just irks me, since it is just more to add to my undying desire for a new F-Zero game.
Wait, there's MORE F-Zero in Mario Kart?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. No, it was probably Mute City that was shown.
Personally, I expect stuff about Wave 4 of Amiibo, the New 3DS' release date officially revealed for EU and NA, and Star Fox.
So we also got this tweet, where Nintendo is asking people to join them at the Nintendo World Store to watch the Direct. Apparently this is usually only done for E3, which makes this very odd. And there's been a lot of teasing on Neogaf that this is something big.
Now the frustrating thing is, all of this could just be for the New 3DS, and it probably is. It's certainly big enough to warrant extra attention. But we know about it, and people seem to be extra secretive anyway. Like there's something else going on. But presumably Nintendo would want to focus on their new revision. So it could go either way, and it's annoying me.
On another note, here's what is basically guaranteed to show up tomorrow. New 3DS coming to North America February 13. It'll launch with Majora's Mask and Monster Hunter. Xenoblade in some form is also definitely showing up. Probably both the 3DS port and X, but at least one for sure. As for everything else, there's too many possibilities to accurately guess.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. What was shown? I had school to attend this morning (Why can't Nintendo do these on Saturday afternoons)
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! It's tomorrow.
Man, I'm really itching to know about the Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover, especially since we know next to NOTHING about it aside from that one trailer from 2013, and news that it was put on hold for awhile.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."Fuuuuuuuun. 1am "tonight". (Here, anyway)

The one thing I get annoyed with is all of the different conversations going on in the various threads when a Nintendo Direct happens and I figured, why not make a thread to consolidate the reactions, discussions on when and what may appear in one, and possibly even talk about our reactions in older ones.
Remember, if you want to talk about specific Nintendo franchises, go to their specific threads.
Going off this, there are a couple of rumors going around:
The first one is This photo from /v/.◊note It is an internal memo about a January 27th Direct.
This one is probably fake.
There are also rumors of a media event on January 14th. Right now only a single twitter post is about it.
