Crunchyroll has livestreaming rights in US and Canada. First ep will be available 8pm PST on Saturday, which is a bit of delay—some 60 hours after it aired in Japan.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra Nova
I thought inari sushi is the cheapest sushi, though, at least in Japan.
Orgasmically Delicious and headtilt don't mix. End of question.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaEpisode 1. In which there's Food Porn.
Down the rabbit hole in the OP. And more food. Beginning to sense a theme. Also, brb, snack time.
Okay, back. To more deliciously looking cooking.
Honestly, I find it kind of hard to make something that smells good but tastes bad. Well, maybe unless I burn it.
Sure, someone bad at cooking will end up being an abusive wife.
I'm usually doubtful when characters look way too young for their age. Or putting young characters among older characters.
"There's meat in it. Look!" Kind of like some meat soups you can find in stores. If you look carefully, you can actually find the meat.
"Lightly dressed." What.
She should maybe drink something to cool her mouth down if she eats at that speed.
No yuri vibes at all.
That's a pretty high temperature? Isn't that just a little higher than average but still normal?
Of course she'd pick the one that wasn't allowed.
See you again next week.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 2:
- OH BOY IT'S SPRINGTIME!
- Is that a meat bag? That's a meat bag.
- Y'know, I'm actually in general agreement with the mom's cooking. Veggie stir fry and mustard are boss.
- All the trees are in full leaf except the sakura, that's not actually how March works/nitpickingnobodyelsecaresabout.
- Well that's normally how adults who are in a very special relationship behave together.
- SUDDENLY EVENING
- "AM I SWAG ENOUGH?"
- It's called a sandwich, people. Americans eat sandwiches.
- Awkwardest handshake ever.
- Kirin so jealous.
- That tamagoyaki sound effect is ridiculous.
- Cherry blossoms are pretty delicate by nature, so yeah.
No lack of girl's love in this one, sasuga Manga Time Kirara.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Yes, Duck, for many humans and also unicorns such as myself that is lightly dressed for winter. That was like a spring or autumn jacket. That isn't buttoned up. WITH NOTHING COVERING HER LEGS. I've been wearing a fleece jacket, a hooded thermal jacket, and two long-sleeved shirts on my upper body, and slacks over snow pants over leggings, and a wool hat and a scarf, and waterproof boots most days for the last two weeks. And I live in Washington DC, not Wisconsin. Today the high was actually 47 but very windy and I forwent the snowpants, scarf and hat and only wore a tee shirt under the two jackets.
Don't judge me.
I have to say Ep 2 is more SHAFTy and has more Les Yay than the previous one.

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThere's the Shaft we know and love. Still cute and relaxing, so I'll probably follow this all the way through.
Ryo feels different to me from most other protagonists for some reason. I think it's because she's legitimately quiet. Most protagonists are either very energetic, or are so quiet and shy that they're actively energetic in being quiet, if that makes any sense. Ryo isn't a bundle of energy in any way and is pretty laid back. I like that actually, even if she's not more entertaining on a moment to moment basis.
Short week.
Episode 2. In which there are headtilts.
Good thing I just ate.
Is "sweet" one of those things that just sound cute to say, because the way it's used kind of implies the sweeter the better, which isn't really true.
There it is. Headtilt.
Starfire would've liked that sandwich.
And again.
When she said, "She's really friendly," I think she left a few exclamation marks and superlatives out.
Kid at a fair. More doesn't need to be said.
Yeah, those bananas are dangerous. But not quite as dangerous as mushrooms.
That's a truly marvelous headtilt. And I like her hair.
And another one. But it wasn't as great.
It's always a competition to know someone the best, and the moment anyone knows one detail you don't you suddenly don't know anything at all and it's all a horrible affront to your relationship with that character. It's a tired cliché.
And now we're back to Food Porn and Orgasmically Delicious: The Anime.
I'll have to make an omelette with cheese after this.
She's surprisingly devious.
I really like it when they sing in the On the Next.
Granted, I am ignoring that they're wearing short skirts, but they're always doing that in anime regardless of temperature, and it's never treated as something unusual. Upper body clothing is all that matters in anime. And that part is heavy.
Sometimes I get chilly when I sit in the shade on a hot, sunny summer day! So we're probably both messed up! But most anime characters don't even get cold in the winter if they're wearing, like, a sweater over a bikini, but constantly whine about the heat when it's summer, so. I was happy that this anime actually acknowledged that a jacket and a short skirt isn't necessarily enough in the middle of winter.
(Also I didn't know the Shaft Head Tilt was a thing people memed until this anime.)
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. There are 3 things that Shaft is known for.
- The Head Tilt
- Insane if rather artsy animation
- Completely redrawing most episodes for the B Ds.

Considering both of them was wearing skirts at that time, no, they didn't acknowledge that part, since that was okay for her.
And yes, I'm probably a bit screwed up when it comes to cold. I'm not too sensitive to heat, though, at least if I get enough to drink or I get to relax.
Check out my fanfiction!

I\'m actually quite curious about Studio Shaft\'s second \'\'Manga Time Kirara\'\' series (after \'\'Hidamari Sketch\'\'), particularly finding, for a \'\'Kirara\'\' series, it doesn\'t have that much Les Yay (to me anyway)...
CM:
Has its own page, despite Crunchyroll\'s decision to muddle up the title issue.
