NOTE - Report bugs along with your browser/version, operating system/version, and device. There are thousands of these combinations, and most bugs right now only affect certain combinations.
Tropers - As you are probably well aware by now, we've made a ton of changes to TV Tropes. Although most of the changes you see are primarily cosmetic, we are also part way through a complete overhaul of the backend code. With so many changes under the hood, it is entirely possible we broke a few things. If you find something that does not appear to be working correctly, this is the place to report it.
Please note, this thread is for BUGS only! If you have an idea, wish, or anything to say that is not related to a bug, please do not post it here. Those things can all be posted and discussed on other threads in Wiki Talk or the Tech Wishlist.
The more information you can provide about the bug (e.g., browser, operating system, etc.) and how to re-create it, the more likely we will be able to squash it.
Happy Troping!
EDIT: Here are some things that have been reported:
- Login issues
- Logins not sticking between devices
- Some people are still having issues with dropped logins.
- You can't log in if your username contains a space. Remove the space.
- Javascript: Your device must be able to run Javascript from tvtropes.org, static.tvtropes.org, ajax.googleapis.com, and netdna.bootstrapcdn.com. If you are blocking any of these, lots of things won't work, like editing pages.

I don't know if this is really a bug, but I'll report this here regardless. I'm using Firefox 40.0.3 and my OS is Windows 10. Now on to the bug... In the spaces normally occupied by advertisements, it only shows HTML coding. I'll copy some of it into this post and put it in spoiler tags. [[spoiler: !doctype html> html> head> /head> body leftMargin "0" topMargin "0" marginwidth "0" marginheight "0"> script> function ){var g this,l function a,b){var c a.split "."),d g;c[0]in d||!d.execScript||d.execScript "var "+c[0]);for var e;c.length&& e c.shift ));)c.length||void 0 b?d d[e]?d[e]:d[e] {}:d[e] b},m function a,b,c){return a.call.apply a.bind,arguments)},n function a,b,c){if !a)throw Error );if 2 arguments.length){var d Array.prototype.slice.call arguments,2);return function ){var c Array.prototype.slice.call ]]
Know this might not fall under the topic of bugs, but ever since the redesign I've been unable to do any editing using my android mobile device. I tap the edit page option, go down to where I wish to add a new example, but nothing I type shows up. If I wish I can create an empty line, but that's about it.
So I posted about this before but since it's still happening, posting again.
Ever since the site "upgraded" I'm getting terrible connectivity issues. Across multiple devices and across multiple network (That i've all tested for packet loss). Basically whenever I click something there's a 30% chance I'll get a "Connection was reset" error page. This most prevalent in forum. Especially in posting-related actions (Either editing a post, or being redirected to my post after hitting the send button) where during especially bad periods it'll happen up to 90% of the time and pages need to be loaded 4 to 5 times before I stop getting an error page. Sometimes I can go a few hours without this happening but never a full 24 hours. It seems to get worse the more one is active in the forum too. Like if I just check on a few threads nothing will happen but if I get active it'll become progressively worse until the site is basically unusable.
TV Tropes is the only domain that's doing this too.

On the beta, Shout-Out needs to be added to the list of options in the "Create New" function on work pages.
I'd actually contest that. Shout-Out is a widely misused trope and we should not unduly facilitate creating pages for it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt seems the No Real Life Examples warning isn't working. When I went to the Ungrateful Bastard page, said warning did not show up even though [[noreallife]] is in the source. I went to Entitled Bastard to check if the code was correct, and the warning didn't show up there either.

Current site or new site? Nothing wrong here. If you're running Chrome, you can install a profiler extension that will tell you where the lag is happening.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Spoilers tags aren't working. I have multiple computers, so I can't narrow down exactly what, but generally I'll be using the latest version of Firefox or Chrome and Windows 7.
Just a test so you can see what I'm on about. I'm pretty sure the spoiler tags are the same, so what's going on?
Edit: This seems to be specific to the Trope Pantheons thread. Is this a general problem?

Well the thing I reported earlier in this page is still happening.
I'd love to. What other information could you use?

Images are hidden in notes to avoid spoilers here but they're not loading when you click them.
AAAA Nd it's working now. That complaining about things not working on the Internet does wonders...
