Cute. :)
Question. Why is the dueling chimpanzee’s helmet reminiscent of the Xenomorph’s head?
How many times does Dr. Crowler get clobbered by a rogue ball?
XD
I’m at the part where Chazz gets his cheesy catch phrase: “You go bye bye!”
Aw, Chancellor Shepherd should have mentioned one of the bad things that would happen if the Sacred Beast Cards re-emerged is cats and dogs living together.
Atticus told Chazz that the best way to win Alexis’s heart is by defeating her in a duel. Boy did that take a dark turn during the Society of Light arc.

Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered! So this short video on youtube posits an interesting theory about Yugi lending Jounichi/Joey his Time Wizard:
One comment puts it into perspective for me:
As I understand it, they didn't actually duel in the manga, since they wanted to avoid letting Pegasus see their decks (which didn't really matter, since Pegasus could simply read Yugi's mind to see all his cards), so I think this duel kinda works. My thoughts are the same as the comment I posted. Yugi ain't enough of a dick to deliberately plant the card in Jounichi's deck to use against him later. But he did take advantage of it.
One Strip! One Strip!I finished the first season of GX.
I can't believe I forgot how much fun that show is. ^_^;; I missed it.
Question: Which character from the various series do you think grew to be way more popular than you expected them to be given their circumstances?
To get the ball rolling: Princess Cologne. From the ZEXAL manga. My favorite character from there, but also one I wouldn't expect to make the leap into the card game simply because Konami has never acknowledged the manga original casts before then.
In the first season finale, Alexis said to Atticus after another one of his jokes about Jaden "He's a friend, who just so happens to be a boy." Say, didn't they make a similar joke in the second Pokemon movie?
"Hey, cut that out! He's a boy and he's a friend, but he's not my boyfriend!"
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!Konami just announced three new games coming to the Early Days Collection:
- Duel Monsters (GB)
- Duel Monsters II (GBC)
- Dark Duel Stories (GBC)
Each physical copy will also contain one of two variations of a quarter century secret rare Harpie's Feather Duster cards.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Fun Fact, Duel Monsters II is called Dark Duel Stories in Japan. (Japan's DDS is Tri-Holy God Advent.)
I hope we get Forbidden Memories, Duelists of the Roses, Falsebound Kingdom, Reshef of Destruction, Monster Capsule GB, and or Monster Capsule Breed and Battle...Do we know how many games will be collected?
The Protomen enhanced my life.I was talking with some friends about how I can’t believe it took me this long to realize how much Yu-Gi-Oh! quite likes the Brainwashed and Crazy trope.
^_^;;
Here are two of my favorite examples. In DOMA/Waking the Dragons, (no) thanks to the Orichalcos Mai changed from a delightfully beautiful and fun-loving Jerk with a Heart of Gold to a power-hungry hellspawn that hated everything in sight, especially Joey. Even her voice changed. In the previous seasons, Mai's voice was sweet and seductive. In Waking the Dragons, it became harsh and no nonsense.
And In GX, when Chazz's victory in their duel brainwashed Alexis into joining the Society of Light, she was still her cheerful self at first, but then she became mad with power. Like that Albert Schweitzer guy.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered! Her voice changed cause of a different voice actress (Bella Hudson instead of Megan Hollingshead).
The Protomen enhanced my life.
This is true, but you could say that narratively, Mai sounded different due to her mind control.

Bastion had decided to not be promoted unless he became the best duelist of first year. Which meant defeating Jaden.
Chazz was probably about to be demoted after losing to Bastion and the stunt with one of the latter's decks.
Wake me up at your own risk.
