I'm really, really sorry that I have to say this, but they already did that.
It was called Dragonball Evolution.
That movie had many mistakes, but I felt Goku's hair is one that could've easily rectified. Instead of that short spiky hair have it be a bit more like Mel Gibson's hair in Braveheart.
Anyways, characters don't tend to be total hams during a dramatic chess or poker match. When they do exchange words it is always in a mellow tone.
Imagine James Bond being forced into a Shadow Game duel against Pegasus. Everyone would be so polite or at least politely sarcastic, which would contrast with the fact someone is going to get his soul taken by the shadows.
You know this is something I've noticed in ZEXAL and I have no idea if this is just how the card game is now but it seems less like monsters are worth anything because of Attack/Defense Points and more because of special abilities. Every card in ZEXAL has like 2 broken abilities and the only way to counter them is with your own monster's effects. Attack Points are best gathered by having awesome abilities rather than just having them innately. Point is, Battles are Effects vs. Effects and not Attack Points vs Attack Points.
I think I fell out of my chair when Yusei actually summoned a Normal monster in 5Ds. note

My Megaman and MegaTen RPG LiveblogsI’m playing more Nightmare Troubadour.
Your character was confused at the difference between Yugi and Yami Yugi, so Joey explained it.
By comparing them to a hamburger and veggie burger.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Man ZEXAL is getting really fucking good. Well it's been good with the whole Mythyrian Numbers Arc now with Yuma reunited with Astral, and Shark joining the Barians, the field is set for the final arc. Also Yuma's grief at being without Astral was handled really well and broke my heart at times.
On a lighter note...
I guess they were in less of a rush to get to Arc V Probably because.....wait? Why weren't they trying to get to Arc V quickly? Is Zexal shorter than 5d's and Gx?
One Strip! One Strip!
.....I would expect that to make them less likely to be able to finish it really.
One Strip! One Strip!I guess I can understand skipping Nightshroud since a lot of people thought it was confusing and generally kinda bad, but Arc Cradle was regarded as a vast improvement on the WRGP since the latter was perceived as basically "Product Placement: The Arc."

Maybe they just can't pull off that hair.
