Could we make the time limit 48 hours?

I wouldn't mind having Oisín NPC'd if something deadly comes up in my life that I can post for a bit, but you said in the interest check that we were expected to post once daily and 4 days to a round would make this game really really slow.

May make a 24 or 48 hour time period... if someone doesn't post in that time, I NPC the actions. Also, oh, oh... nobody respond on my post just yet. Savant's post is in limbo and it may alter the battle dramatically.

Um... I might have replied already. I'll alter my post if things change.

Sorry, folks! It's just taking me longer than expected to find an online sheet that my Adobe reader will let me edit and save.

It's been fun.

Honestly, I'd consider trying Myth Weavers.

It's not a pdf and has some limitations which aren't on a normal sheet but it's highly editable.

And the result was indeed, critical... The Ogre is down! Lissa's final assault, after the ogre was mangled by a bear, dealt the killing blow! Everyone involved, feel free to describe your attacks in this coordinated assault which drove the beast down.

Fight's over. We shouldn't need to describe our actions in combat format anymore, right?

Also, Faux: barkskin is also a concentration spell, so pass without trace has ended.

Indeed, I'll just hurry you guys along to next fight. Or at least to a place where you can look at what's happening then you can decide how to jump in at it.

Sorry for the delay, taking control of my character is fine for times when I'm busy, such as the past weekend.

Hate to break it to you Melon, but you're probably better off casting bless on the Cat.

Or keeping the original up: increasing level only increases the number of targets. (Unless a minute has already passed, in which case recasting might be warranted.)

[up]I talked with Dalt. We had about 18 seconds of it left, so it's probably a moot point there.

Assuming daltar hasn't added any modifiers, we've had three separate encounters:

  1. 3 wolves (CR 1/4, 50 XP each. x2 because there are 3 of them = 300 XP.)
  2. Ogre (CR 2, 450 XP)
  3. Ogre (CR 2, 450 XP)

The party's threshold for Easy encounters is 350 XP (Easy) / 700 XP (Medium), so a solitary ogre counts as an Easy encounter. Both ogres together (450 XP x 2 x 1.5, or 1350 XP), on the other hand, would've been Hard (1050 XP).

So yes, it is a terrible night to be an ogre... and Sanna is the bearer of bad news. *ba-dum tish*

Though, the game expects us to have several encounters in a day so a single deadly encounter wouldn't actually be too bad if we are all full on our spell slots and not expecting anyone else. Little stuff like Oisín's traps and generally being able to draw the Ogres out made the battle circumstantially easier.

On the otherhand, I've told Daltar that my secret campaign goal is to turn Oisín into a Stark and conquer the Northlands, so my new pet wolf (wolves? Dalt said she'd let me retcon the javelin toss as I left it in by accident and it contradicted the rest of my post) is step one and I probably wouldn't have managed that in a larger battle.

Don't forget to loot the bodies where applicable. (I leave this to the rest of the party.tongue)

I am pretty sure they have wooden weapons and loin clothes. And I really don't want to remove the loin clothes.

Haha, it's an easy mistake. I actually had to check when Dalt mentioned that the Wolves could infect us.

Honestly, the only reason I recalled I had the ability at all was Mr. Welsch's 588.

I'm a bit worried that Sanna's starting to sound like Rorschach. Also, that her rambling is out-of-character and a little too long-winded for a cantrip.tongue

Well that's a problem.

Would Lesser Restoration work for curing our friend's case of magic rabies?

Edit: Lesser Restoration should work. I used a similar flavour text to immediately cure the wolves. If you have it in you, a minor cure wounds would probably be good as well.

I concur with the use of lesser restoration. I'd offer to cast goodberry, but you have to be awake to actually eat the stuff, so I think we should go with cure wounds (or Channel Divinity if you're worried about spell slots).
