Looking at the paper and signatures Kalmir hesitates, then speaks with some embarrassment in his voice.
Kalmir: I am sorry, but... I do not know how to write my name in your language. Or, ah, in any language. We do not write anything underwater.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGob-Sitting next to the dapper man mentioned earlier is a young lady, well at least you think she is a lady, it is kind of hard to see any of her under all the robes she is wearing, leaving not even one small bit of her skin exposed, even her eyes are behind a thinner set of cloth, translucent enough to be seen through but still there-
-Standing behind her is a large entity in a suit of armor, watching over her silently and vigilantly not moving at all, they defiantly seem dedicated to there job whomever they are. While it would be easy to assume this entity is just a knight at first glance, mages would be able to sense something... off about them-
-As in, there is a nearly direct connection to the void in the center of there chest-
-Viorec speaks directly to Hal, with another glance towards the others.-
"I suppose I should introduce myself to my employer...and, indirectly, my future compatriots."
-He places a hand over his heart and gives a deep bow.- "My name is Viorec Andrezi, and I am a spell fencer."

Be kind. With Hal's permission Kalmir presses his thumb under some of the other signatures. The moist substance coating his skin leaves an imprint when he pulls away again. A little rudimentary, but it will do.
With that, he turns towards the others and also bows.
Kalmir: It is a pleasure to meet you; Mr. Andrezi, Mr. Victor, Mr. Fritz, and the rest of you also. I go by Kalmir on land. I suppose I would be a freelancer, though I can hunt also. I hope that we can all get along well.

they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGob-What exactly he would pick up, and how usefull would be depends on what skills he is using and what he observes-
-Social skills would tell him that her clothes are definitely not work clothes due to the large amounts of intricate patterns, and extreme care that went into there making, they seem to be casual attire if any thing, ornate casual attire though-
-Very close visual inspection would reveal she is not from any location near by, there seems to be metallic sand trapped in her clothing, something not exactly found in any nearby location, or well known at all really-
-And social skills mixed with visual observation would say that the way she is sitting indicates she is not human, she seems to be holding her self in a way to avoid sitting on her tail, that and there is occasionally a subtle swish in her robes from one-
Kalmir: -chuckles- That probably puts you a step above me then, Mr. Fritz. I only know enough about reading to get by on land.
He was curious, of course, about Victor's statement, but felt it rude to pry into what could be a sensitive issue.
Kalmir: Have the two of you done anything like this before? This would be my first time joining one of these 'guilds'.

(Marcia places her signature on the paperwork in a sloppy, haphazard manner. It says, "Marcia Shyneet". Hal, are you sure this is a signature?)
