Jonathan shook his head at Savio. "Nah, nobody yet."
—
Nina frowned and thought harder. "Um... I think, three boys in particular might be the culprit. Lucius, Thomas, or..." She suddenly started blushing. "Never mind, just Lucius or Thomas. That couldn't be Hunter."
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!“No, Grommit, these are the wrong trousers, the wrong trousers,” Amani told Chris in a Scottish accent even as she started looking at the photos closely. “You don't need your man pants, you need your smart pants. Sorry, you don't have any. So just help me go through those disgusting pictures.”
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Artemis merely shot Chris a look of annoyance before saying "Cool it.".
She then turned to Nina, her curious eyes probing deep into Nina's own. "Why don't you suspect Hunter?"
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOChris snorted and started going through photos.
"Well here's the bad news, the most defining features of a face are the eyes, brow and nose. Each one is shaped distinctly, uniquely. Sadly we can only see the chin at most in some of these photos, so all we have to go on are our suspicions. Why not this Hunter guy? He your boyfriend or something?"
GIVE ME YOUR FACENina was bright pink. "Hunter was my boyfriend. I'd, um... I'd be able to identify him from those pictures."
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!"I see... Yes, that makes sense." Artemis then turned around. "Amani, did you find anything?"
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOAmani would be able to deduce that it was dark out when the pictures were taken; there wasn't any natural lighting from the windows, and in one photo, the edge of a digital clock could be read with a 1 at the beginning of the time, signalling anytime between 10 PM and 1 AM. There was also one picture that had been ripped, apparently to obscure the face of the perpetrator; however, it confirmed that he would have blond hair.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Amani looked at Nina's digital clock before replying. “The... crime... was perpetrated at night, between ten o'clock and a minute to two. The perp is blond, but...”
She picked the torn picture up. “Veeery suspicious.” The half-Japanese, half-Arab raised her eyebrow. “Nina, you didn't tear this photo, did you now? If you did, it's probably Hunter and he needs to be reminded of basic social norms.”
"What?" Nina asked. "No, I didn't tear any photos... and I promise I'd know if it was Hunter. Really. And I wouldn't defend him if it was him. I'm not still in to him or anything, okay?! That's not Hunter's... I mean, that's not Hunter!" The Turtle Black head girl was bright pink by now.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Amani gave Nina a doubting look but didn't press the issue. “So, next logical step: we take Thomas and Lucius, bring 'em here, and show them the photos. Their reactions could be very, very telling. That, or we strip them.”
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."Remember not to show them a picture with too much information, like the one with the clock in it." Warned Artemis with a stern face. "Now that we have a rough approximation of the time the act was committed, their alibis will be our trump card."
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGONina thought for a moment. "Lucius will probably be out on the boats, I think. He's a good sailor, one of the best here besides me. Thomas usually hangs out in the Ventra dorm with his girlfriend. Hunter, if you really need to talk to him, is either in the science building or in the library."
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!“Can't we just phone them and tell them to come here, though?” asked Amani, whipping a generic smartphone out of her pocket. “Why try to find them in place they might or might not be in when you can just bring them here?”
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."Because if they take their sweet time getting here, it will be that much easier to think up a story." Said Artemis. "It's best if we go to them."
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOAyda wandered around the campus, nose in a book - Homeland, by Cory Doctorow. She glanced up at the sound of voices, and noticed some Tigers challenging a Turtle and an Arnis to a Tag Duel. She vaguely recognized the Arnis, if only because they were in the same dorm. She settled down to watch, one hand folding a corner of the page she was on as she sat down on a nearby bench.

“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertNina looked at the three other girls. "Um, how about we split up? Chris, you can go talk to Lucius. Amani and I can go check on Thomas and his girlfriend. And Artemis can go talk to Hunter if you guys really think it's necessary. Does that sound good?"
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Amani clapped her hands twice quickly. “Right then. Chopchop. No time to waste, let's go. Let's find the culprit” — she made a “scary” face, which made her look like she just swallowed a whole lemon — “and hang him from his nosehairs above an open fire!”

Artemis decided to press further. "Even if it's just singling you out because you're the head girl, any instances of strange behavior would help narrow down the list of suspects."
She then turned to Amani and Chris. "Instead of standing around, you two can help by digging through some of the pictures and finding something that gives us a clue as to what time the incident took place. Timestamps, clocks, even just a glimpse of outside."
