Part of the pacing "problem" with Seraph may be that it's an Adaption Expansion of the manga, which didn't move heroically fast to begin with.
Watching Ore Monogatari is like eating a bowl of sugar, topped with honey. I don't think it's the kind of show that can be marathoned. And we're getting twenty more episodes of that.

Euphonium has rather more teeth and rather more of a sense of purpose than your standard 'cute girls doing cute things' show, even if it is heavily steeped in high-school nostalgia. A cute artstyle's fine if it doesn't correspond to too much of an infantilisation of the characters.
What's precedent ever done for us?With the season halfway over, I think it's time for a mid-year report.
Contuining from previous season:
Sailor Moon Crystal: Only watching out of inertia.
World Trigger: Actually it's gotten a bit better.
Comical Psychosomatic Medicine: Hilarious shorts.
Assasination Classroom: Still a good adaptation of the manga.
Current Season:
I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying S2: Hilarious shorts.
Mysterious Joker S2: As with the previous season: it's a kids show, but I think it's fairy well done.
Gunslinger Stratos: Right now, I think the good in this show is outweighing the bad. The biggest issue is that the characters aren't that well developed. Plot is on a roll, though.
Punch Line: I'm not sure if this is a parody of Visual Novels, something that was originally concieved as a visual novel, or if the author can't write anything that's not like a visual novel. The show is definitely a joke though.
Re-Kan: Yuri-subtext 4Koma with ghosts. Actually, this might be the my favorite anime of this season.
Hello Kinmoza: Somehow it's even wackier and more yuri-tastic than Season 1!
Rin-Ne: It's Rumiko Takahashi rehashing her formula, but at least the show doesn't have an ongoing plot that will be dragged out forever.
Wish Upon the Pleiades: This isn't bad, but it could be a lot better. The creator's are kind of shoving in a lot of things at once, and it's not gelling all too well.
Plastic Memories: I was on the verge of dropping this at one point, but it's actually redeemed itself, mostly because it knows when to lay off the angst.
Mikagura School Suite: Action comedy with a yuri protagonist. Nuff said.
Ninja Slayer: I actually need to catch up on this. It's almost like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, except it's much more comprehensible.
Really? Well, okay
Re-Kan: Passable? Does well enough when it's aiming for drama, but I can't claim that the comedy is good
Seraph: Been getting better. The latest character is even moderately original!
Kekkai Sensen: Still the best thing
Mikagura: Attempting to flesh out the supporting cast isn't working to well for it. Still, Eruna is quite capable of carrying the show
Euphonium: The story itself isn't great, but the execution of it is phenomenal
Pleiades: Shit got weird. I like it
Rin-Ne is really goddamn hilarious. You should watch it.
Anyway, since Spring is halfway through...
- Jo Jo: I used to not like Jotaro, but he really grew on me once he started relying more on trickery and mind games.
- Rin-Ne: Well, I've said it's hilarious, so I'll try to come up with a snide comment about how it's the fourth shonen I've seen which is also a reverse harem.
- PUNCH-LINE: Holy goddamn Jesus Tittyfucking Christ on a stick, this show really blew my motherfucking mind last two episodes. Easily AOTS.
- Arslan continues to be excellent, and also continues to be the closest thing we'll get to Yona S2.
- Plastic Memories has well written romance. That, alone, is enough to hook me up.
- Ore Mono: See above.
- Danna Ga Nani is still proof adults can into moe.
Dropped (for real this time)
- Boreaph of the Edge: You know what really bothered me about this show that continually bothered me, apart from being an AOT knockoff with really bad pacing? The character interactions. Since any given character is this boring, snarky twat, interactions are subsequently really shallow. It doesn't help that the tone is all over the place and it often resorts to shameless manipulation when it fails to build any actual gravitas.
- Dan Machi It sucks and all characters are twats. Ha.
- Euphonium just doesn't connect with me. I really wanted to like it, really. But I can't.

I like both Owari no Seraph and Kekkai Sensen. I just like the former more for some reason.
