I thought Raymond Cruz couldn't continue being on BB because he had a contract with The Closer. At least that's what Vince Gilligan said.
The way Saul handled that situation was classic, he is definitely "The best lawyer ever." So to speak.
Is not impressed.HERE'S JOHNNY!
This show is so good!
I love the scene in the latest episode where Jimmy actually finds the Kettlemans. That family is fricking nuts. I love the boy's reaction when Jimmy says he's "taking [them] back to civilization."
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Dammit. I don't have a cable subscription, so I either have to wait months for this series to show up on Netflix, or look for poorly copied videos on a sketchy website.
It's already on Netflix! New episodes weekly! At least in the US and UK.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username. Not in the US, just the UK. However, I make due with this site. I guess you could call it one of those "sketchy" sites. However, I find it to be good enough to suit my needs, and I have hardly had any issue with it thus far.

Is not impressed.Tonight's episode wasn't exactly a highlight of the series so far, though I am intrigued by that ending...
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I wouldn't call this episode "filler" by any means, it had a lot of great stuff in it. However, it was clearly a stepping stone for the next episode, which I am wishing was already out.
Is not impressed.Wow. That... was a heavy episode.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |Also, can we give Jonathan Banks his Emmy now, or do we need to wait?
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |I say do it now, nothing is topping that. What an episode, absolutely superb.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I'm watching the first episode.
This is extremely hard to watch.
I can't help but feel very sorry for Jimmy.
The cinematography is superb, though.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Mike, mike, mike, mike.
Poor Mike.
Also, it's amazing how Saul can make a double-breasted suit look bad. Double-breasted suits are awesome.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. How far are you into the show Handle?
Is not impressed.Episode 4. Jimmy's been mutating into Saul at a surprising pace.
Mike's being kind of a dick.
And now... what's he doing with the Hamelin guy?!
Oh. A rescue! You know the funniest thing? The worker was never in any real danger; the harness would have held on, like, forever. He just would be extremely inconvenienced.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.OH. MY. GOD.
HE MADE A MILLION DOLLARS ON PURE BULLSHIT!
Looks like this show's morale is "honesty doesn't pay, but crime's too much trouble, so, either way, you're fucked... but at least with crime you'll have some exciting ups and downs instead of pure utter misery". Or something like that.
EDIT: I made a Face Fault when I saw the face on the dollars. Talk about Yank the Dog's Chain! AWFUL! THIS IS AWFUL AND WRONG!

TT_TT
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Was that a guy at the bathroom in 7th episode from wanted poster from the beginning? Or just similar beard?
Just started on this series a couple days ago and so far it looks pretty good. Granted I missed the first 3 episodes but read recaps of them. I've only ever seen bits and pieces of Breaking Bad but to me this show seems to be good as it's own thing apart from that series.
"If everybody is thinking alike, somebody isn't thinking"- George S. PattonI need to catch up with this, I caught the first 3-4 episodes and I've been missing it since.
I'm excited for the "Mike" episode, I forgot all about the "Half-Measure" story he mentioned to Walter, so I guess this is probably a depiction of that story.
I don't imagine Gus will be introduced in this show, will he? Saul "knew" about him, but they never spoke directly. But I guess they could use Mike's part of the story for that, couldn't they.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Jimmy's Doomed by Canon status gets more painful with each episode.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. It certainly is tragic to see, but at the same time we're seeing bits of Saul bubbling up to the surface, which is great. I'm just curious to see what becomes of Chuck...
Is not impressed.Given Saul's ultimate fate, and Chuck's electrically allergic reaction to Saul's moral degradation, I think he'll die.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.My personal bet is that Chuck somehow, at least symbolically, betrays Jimmy or at least Jimmy's image of him. My current guess is HHM will get ahold of the Sandpiper case, whether by arguing that they're already involved, via Kim doing legwork for Jimmy on the print outs, the use of Chuck's number authorizing it, (and Chuck will side with HHM on the matter) or that Chuck himself will give it to them because they have the resources to properly pursue it and Jimmy doesn't.
There's also a theory going around that Chuck was the one who blocked Jimmy being hired at HHM, because he felt that he couldn't have a former con man representing the firm, and used Hamlin to be the bad guy and give Jimmy the news. If that is true, and the above with the Sandpiper case also happens, I could see it really pushing Jimmy into big time disillusionment.

Yeah, knew I recognised him from somewhere!
Tuco was a big surprise for me. I knew Mike was going to be in it, and I've heard Walt might cameo too, but had no idea on that one. I believe his actor was a bit too uncomfortable with the role originally, hence its truncation. Somehow they've made him even fucking scarier. I've broken my leg before and sweet mother of God is it painful. The terror those two were going through, and this still getting off easy. Seriously, how did the show manage that?
Have to say, I'm really impressed so far from the first two episodes. Saul was always one of the best things about Breaking Bad, but there was always the concern about what they could actually do with the character since we know where he ends up. That still remains to be seen, but this is a confident start.
