Speaking of 76, his gameplay preview's out.

So Embedding is broken.
Oh well, the point is that 76 looks comparatively simple. Just an assault rifle, a noob tube, a health pack, and an aimbot.
So I guess he is Boring, but Practical.
At least he looks cool and isn't just another olive-drab/camo wearing generic soldier.
I know that Battleborn also has a very similar character to this, Oscar Mike. Both are the "generic shooter" class. At least Oscr Mike has a cool knight helmet.

The Chinese knock-off of Team Fortress 2 also had a generic soldier guy, which was funny because Valve specifically didn't want it in TF 2.
The Overwatch Reddit had a Qn A with some of the developers about S76 and related topics: https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/comments/3dezkd/hey_roverwatch_were_here_for_a_quick_qa_about/?sort=new
Honestly, the most interesting thing in that AMA was the mention of an in-house game where one side fielded 5 Winstons and 1 Pharah.
Now I'm imagining a 6 on 6 match with everyone playing Tracer. I bet you'd go cross-eyed.
But the real question is if 5 Bastions and a Reinhardt is still OP.
It's a nice "inexorable leapfrog" tactic, but one or two high mobility characters like Pharah, Tracer, Winston, or Hanzo will fuck it right up.
I had an idea for an Overwatch fan fic where Tracer's chronal accelerator has a malfunction and she ends up going back in time to when Overwatch was founded.
We have our first hints at the next hero, and this news post implies we'll be seeing him at gamescom on August 5th.
There was also a tweet with a picture for a place called Numbani (I think that's what it was called). Looks like an African city stage.
It's pretty awesome that Blizzard had their creative team produce the music supposedly by this character, and I kind of hope it makes it into the game (it's got a decent vibe for shooter BGM).
Someone on the Blizzard site noted that a hero named Soundquake was mentioned in the cinematic trailer, so this might be the guy.
Understand! Understand! The Concept of Love! UHN!
He looks really unique, and really fun. Lucio appears to be a highly mobile support character, and his speed boost is something we haven't seen yet. It's one thing to increase defense, but increasing speed can really change the game.
I saw Overwatch on the launcher and I got excited.

Yes, me too.
BUT I STILL DON'T HAVE BETA ACCESS.
It's not in beta yet. So nobody does.
I mean, there's not even a Play Game button. Is this still in closed Alpha? How do I get access?
The interesting thing about Lucio's bio is that his neighborhood was oppressed by Vishkar Corporation, the same mega-corp Symmetra works for. Hopefully they'll have some special lines for beating each other or personalized interaction.
Pump out the jams! LĂșcio's gameplay preview has arrived.

Time for DJ Skateman to shine.
From the looks of it, he's for the more offensive oriented support players, who want to support the whole team without dividing their support.
Also, speed boosts. Very, very, VERY useful.

You know, I wasn't too keen on this game from all the obnoxious "TF 2 killer!!1!" stuff people were saying, but I've been watching the trailers and it looks like a ton of fun. Characters look a tad one-dimensional, though.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.
He's kinda giving me a Bucky Winter Soldier vibe.
I hope his backstory is as colorful as everyone else.
