"Of course there is!" Charisse replied, crouching down and extending a hand toward Ieria.

"You think you can beat the Rey King do you? Just remember the only way you're leaving after the cage drops..." She paused for dramatic effect, "IS ON A STRETCHERRRRR!"

The crowd roared in anticipation and applause. This was a public event after all. Come to think of it, it wasn't much a reunion as a public spectacle.

The Juggernaut Stance flared ever so slightly to life around Rufus's body as he grinned a feral grin.

Don't say you're throbbing with anticipation. Don't say you're throbbing with anticipation. DON'T say you're throbbing with anticipation.

"I am HARDENING with anticipation."

Slightly accurate but just as bad.

Jack shrugged, "Hey, see, you need to get a Huntress, They know how to properly do relationships." Jack told the shorter-than-he remembered Rufus. he looked up at the cage.

"I am Hardening with anticipation!" Rufus shouted at the heavens. Jack glanced at him, He'd forgot about that. Oh yeah, He cracked his knuckles, formulating his battle plan. -If it's moving, hit it. If it's still moving; harder.

Alexia smiled as she observed her friends. "Well, I would like to join in as well, but apparently it's not proper for the princess to partake in these things. Also, I might give poor Alfred a heart attack."

Said knight glanced at the princess when she mentioned him, snorted, and went back to glaring at everything.

Meanwhile, Carol walked after Lucas, Chris riding on her shoulders. "You worry too much, love. We all need a break! Especially your bestselling author of a wife!"

"...Oh, and remind me to apologize to Jack later."

Chris laughed, remembering the last time Uncle Jack visited for dinner. Mum had punched him in the face.

The Ring

Glen had a short window of time to attend the reunion with his former classmates, and thus completely skipped swinging by the locker room. Thus, a massive and heavily armed Highlander began making his way into the ring. Little had changed about Glen, other than gaining the better part of a foot in height and a plethora of new scars.

Stepping into the ring, Glen grinned and addressed those in the ring with him "It's good tae see all o' you once again. Sadly, I cannae spend as much time as I'd like tae here, so I hae to make this quick. What're the rules o' this battle an' when do we start?"

"Well first of all it's wrestling, so would you kindly hand over all your sharp, deadly weapons?" asked a different aide than the one before. This one was burlier, but his speech was more posh and gentle. He gently motioned to Rufus and Charisse, both of them currently weaponless. "Semblances are allowed, of course, but weapons are not for fairness's sake."

"I don't think I can participate, being registered as a living weapon and all." Hope droned, clenching and unclenching her metal fist a couple of times, thinking of Charisse's challenge. "I could be a referee though if someone explains the rules to me... are there any rules other than "pin a guy and count to 3 to win the match"?" She asked no one in particular, slowly folding her arms.

"Yes you should," Lucas said. "Granted, what Jack said was uncalled for, especially with Chris in the room..." Even as a grown man, it seemed that Jack had a knack for ticking girls off.

Soon enough, they made it to the main group of alumni, and Lucas headed over to his former team leader. "Hey Remus..."

Ieria took Charrisse's outstretched hand and allowed herself to be pulled up into the ring, she had left her weapons at home, deciding that she would more than likely not need them for something like this. "So what will I do? Sit on the sidelines until one of you is done?"

THE RING

Jack looked at the others in the ring. "Well, the only rule I gathered, is no weapons..." He shrugged, giving a predatory scan to his former classmates. "Think Bluebeard's watching?"

THE RING

After a fair bit of time spent disarming himself, Glen handed a modest pile of weaponry to the aide in front of him before saying "If I find any damage on any o' those, you will regret ever being born."

Ringside

"Oh, you think?" Rufus said with a grin, "I used to have such a crush on him, you know?"

Rufus started making his way into the ring, "So, by the way, Jack, how have you been doing?"

"Ever heard of a free-for-all, Ieria?" Charisse replied with a grin.

"Let's put on a good show, shall we?"

Once the four of them were present in the ring, pyrotechnics went off around the ring. At the same time, a familiar man walked into the center and took up the microphone.

"GOOOOD EVENING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. WE OF BEACON WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME YOU TO THIS BATTLE OF THE CENTURY. WE HAVE BROUGHT FAMOUS HUNTERS, WORLD-ROUND, AND EVEN REY KING II FROM THE INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING FEDERATION. MY NAME IS JUDAS BLUEBEARD, I'LL BE YOUR COMMENTATOR, AND I'D LIKE ALL OF YOU TO"

"GET READY FOR THE SMACKDOWN !"

Bluebeard jumped down from the ring, and sat down behind a table with a microphone. He slammed his fist down on a button, which dropped the iron cage around them. Two rings of a ball signified the start of the battle, along with the cacophonous roar of the crowd.

Charisse immediately charged forward at Rufus, who just so happened to be on the opposite end of the ring from her.

"Ieria, Rufus! Give 'em hell!" Pius called out from his seat, louder than he usually was. Then again, he hadn't seen his teammates in the year since the accident, and the other teams for even longer afterwards; the Nobel felt like being loud for his friends to make up for such lost time.

The gray-eyed cyborg leaned towards his former partner, eager to catch up and forget the last time they saw each other. One year made them all look so different; in his time away, he'd even let the marriages and gained parenthoods among them slip from his mind. Thankfully, the memories had mostly returned when he spotted them while he waited in the shadows, so he was able to appear as if he'd remembered what had happened to them all.

"So, how are things in Vale, Alexia? I had to spend my time in Atlas to get Astra built and tested."

"Good." Jack replied, and then, as expected Bluebeard demanded violence. Jack didn't sprint or charge, instead, he put one hand on the side of the ring, circling around towards Glen. He seemed relaxed, running his hand on the side of the cage and he calmly walked towards the man. The Clansman's semblance was all about his arms...So, just had to break those then.

Rufus's semblance wrapped around him like a faint ghostly armor. He stepped to meet Charisse's charge but she would cover more distance than him.

He would open with a feint, a heavy left uppercut that turned into a corkscrew jab, throwing part of his weight into it. Only this let his right fist swing back and than back again in under the cover of the feint in a move that cross a haymaker with a clothesliner.

Charisse smiled. Did he think this was boxing or something?

She dived downwards, knees first, imbuing her semblance into her own body. The plan was to grab his legs, then spin around him and launch him into someone else. The classic Rey King Hellblender, as seen in IWF Wrestlemadness XVII, executed with a touch more semblance than usual.

The Ring

"I am a mother, Charisse, I am all too familiar with free for alls." She says under her breath, remembering all the times she had to break up a brawl between the more rowdy members of her brood. Ieria listened to the announcer with a pint of interest before turning her gaze to her competition. They had changed over the years, yet their smell was the same, for the most part. She wondered idly what else was the same...

And then the bell rang, with the other four immediately squaring off against each other. Ieria sighed and started to let her semblance run, she didn't have to worry about turning it off any time soon, seeing as she had no allies in this fight. She observed each of them as she felt her power grow, before immediately making a beeline for the closest one, taking advantage of their distraction.

ALWAYS BEWARE THE BIG BOOBIED SNAKE

Jack was slammed into from the side by Ieria, He sat up, smiling. "Hey, how's the kids?" He asked, rolling to his feet. "Looks like I can pay you back for the last time we fought." The Reisentoter smiled, making sure to keep the faunus between him and Glen.

Ring

Rufus was a density shifter, a limited aspect, self range, reality warper. His soul bent the fabrics of the cosmos to increase his density. Now, it was also possible what Charrise did was also warping and that the two power could have had an interesting interaction that would make theoretical physicists squeal.

It was not to be today.

A dense as gold human body had his own considerable momentum turned against him and augmented by some kind of inertia power. He was sent flinging across the arena, flying with all the force such a heavy body mustered and flying, presumably, at somebody.

SNAKES ARE SEXY AND SINISTER

"They are fine, Jack." She said, her voice distorted by her semblance as she stared directly at him with a cold expression. "And I truly did not mean to break your leg that time." She murmured under her breath before making her move, leading with a soaring kick.

Alexia smiled at Pius as she replied. "As well as it can be, I suppose, with a new queen. We missed you at the coronation two months ago, by the way. Where were you? Anyway, Alice was really nervous, but I think she's doing a fine job. You've heard of the proposed reforms? My sister really did antagonize those conservatives, though..."

"No, I didn't really hear too much about your sister," Pius replied. "But she's been queen for two months? Around that time I think I was somewhere in Vacuo. What happened to your mom? Did she die or abdicate? Is the council any different since I left?"

"Apology accepted." Jack said, stepping to the side, grabbing Ieria by the ankle and slamming her into the ground several times before grabbing her by the head and smashing the Faunus into the floor one more time.

Ieria hissed in annoyance instead of pain, her sensitivity to such things having been numbed as she turned around and arched her body, wrapping a leg around Jack's and forcing him to the ground, where she promptly swung a fist aimed for his face.
