Or if the people intervene, what with those folks being the ones who ousted the Pres in the first place. I hope they remain a force to be reckoned with.

They have to be organized for that. With Compaore gone, the unifiying factor is also gone. Different people will have different ideas for what they want.

For now that is a good thing. Lets hope things improve down the road and don't explode in a few months.

So far this seems low key anyone know of any serious issues or problems other then the ones that drove out the pres?

Though aren't the people protesting the military as a whole? The earlier sentiment that the people might have a problem with this still has merit, though as I said before, they'd have to organize....

That's what BBC sources say, yes. There's also mention about how the Presidential Guard was loyal to Compaore, though that could just be a misreading.
