Helena was quietly munching her sausage pancakes, deciding against protesting the wrong order and getting another bop from her slitherly sibling (a bit uncharacteristic of her, but we'll let that slide). Food was still good regardless, just a bit odd compared to what she was expecting. Oh well, what's life without trying new things?
Anywho, once the questions of destinations came up, Helena quickly swallowed her bite and raised her hand slightly. "There's an anime con that I wanna go to happening in a few days. Aside from that, I dunno, the beach? People always go to the beach on these sorts of trips."
Suddenly, Jake stood up and slammed his palms against the table, and just held them there as he stared into the eyes of everyone sitting with him.
"Rockhenge." He stated with purpose before reaching for the maple syrup and sitting back down.

"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGO"I said it's in a few days! As in, it's not happening now," Helena clarified. Forcefully. "'sides, we can always get pocky at those, what do you call it, eastern supermarkets. Though, hmm, we should probably plan on getting a hotel now so we don't have to worry about them all being booked... Anyway, the plan was to head out today, right? I don't want to stick around for a few more days. Why don't we just go to the county fair a few towns over? Buy overpriced food, go on unregulated rides, look at their extravagantly named ordinary animals that are only named such because they want to charge ridiculous prices for people to get to see them... you know, like 'the terrifying vampire slug' or 'the legendary hornless unicorn' or some BS like that..."
"Yeah, I'm up for that." Jake said, nodding his head. "But Rockhenge after."

Marvin relaxed a bit, feeling vaguely relieved that Lilith wasn't around anymore.
"Well, I know that the band planned on hitting up a couple music festivals, and there's probably a few touristy locations that we'll find along the way, but geography was never my strong suit. I mean, we've all probably seen or been to the nearby stuff, so that's presumably off the table."
