Of course, the caveat of that is how it combines or more accurately fucks with people taking other medications already.
I generally have to be very careful about alcohol intake since the side-effects of alcohol (namely drowsiness) are amplified by my epilepsy medication. It would take me a lot of convincing to add another drug on top of that. How it could fuck with women on contraceptive pills in particular would be a definite cause of concern in testing
I'm having to learn to pay the priceI'm having some Dimple
◊ right now. I think it's a good one. What do the whisky experts here have to say about it?
Hmm. Tried different wines from Jellybean, but none of them are as sweet as they say on the label.
There was an apple based wine I bought from Tennesse's Apple store in pigeon forge that was really sweet, and felt more like alcoholic strawberry Apple juice then wine. Pretty good stuff.
I've grown to love Mikes hard lemonade and other assorted Mike's drinks, as well as Smirnoff.

Watch SymphogearHad three bottles of Estrella Damm
two nights ago. Nice pilsner lager, very smooth. I can alternate between a pack of this, a pack of Guinness or some Franziskaner on my weekends.
I didn't know we had an Alcoholics Thread!
Hello. My name is SolipSchism, and I'm a high-functioning alcoholic. I just discovered Cynar
and we've been going steady for about a month now. I'm generally a vodka drinker, although I also recently discovered Angel's Envy, one of the only whiskeys I can tolerate (Fireball and other cinammon whiskeys are another, though I'm not particularly fond of them).
I also have a weakness for dirty gin martinis, Guinness, high-quality Hefeweizens (I'm thinking Weihenstephaner and Paulaner, here, none of that Widmer Brothers bullshit), AMFs (the delicious blue cousin of the disgusting Long Island Iced Tea), and a bourbon Old-Fashioned.
How do you do?
WHISKY REVIEW: Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch 49 @ 60.4%
Alright troops, time for another whisky review. Tonight, its Aberlour's beloved cask strength no-age-statement sherry monster A'Bunadh - "The Original".
A quick note of explanation: Whiskies are usually diluted down to bottling strengths in the 40%-50% range. Some whiskies, however, are simply bottled straight out of the cask without watering down. Such whiskies are called "cask strength". A'Bunadh is just such a whisky.
Color: A deep red-gold. A'Bunadh does not have E150 caramel colorant added, so this is all from the active Spanish Oloroso sherry butts it was matured in. Very nice.
Nose: A very strong scent of dried red fruits; Massive aroma of marzipan. Winter spices, like mince pies. Dark chocolate. A sharp aroma of oranges develops. God, I could smell this all day. Maltiness and shortbread. Brilliantly strong - but it needs quite a bit of time in the glass and a lot of water to get here.
Palate: Oranges and chocolate. Bitter lemon. Maraschino cherries towards the end. Toffee. There's a fantastic ginger and cloves spiciness throughout
Mouthfeel: Very creamy. Beautifully so in fact.
Finish: The spices stay, and the oak remains throughout. Chocolate. Ginger rounds it off.
Overall: One of the best whiskies out on the market, especially at present prices. What's more, I've hard Batch 46 isn't even one of the better Aberlours out there. This is what Scotch can do at its best.
The nose alone is worth the price of the bottle. Not for the faint-hearted though, and it needs a fair bit of water.

Schild und Schwert der ParteiSo I've been getting into cocktails lately, so far I've had Long Island ice Tea and June Bugs, both of which I very much enjoyed. I need to work out what I will have next time I go to the cocktail bar, as it's really not far.
“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranAhhh I'm such a lightweight that I didn't notice, I think that the reasoning for that is because there's a stronger concentration of alcohol at the bottom of the drink than at the top.
“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ Cyran... I drink from a straw.
I'm a straw man.
Anyway, martinis!

High and dry? Party drug could target excess drinking
: "Last month, a patent application was filed for a drug that is supposed to give people a pleasant intoxication as well as limit the amount they drink.
In an unlikely marriage, the compound was created by the drug designer behind mephedrone, a now widely banned substance that has caused at least one death and been implicated in 13 others in the UK. The man, who has asked to be referred to by his pseudonym, Dr Z, initially intended his creation to be sold as a legal high. But after having discussions with Nutt and trying it on himself, he now plans to gift the patent to Nutt's charitable research group Drug Science, in the hope it will be used as a 'binge mitigation agent'.
How it might finally be used will depend on the results of detailed testing – including how quickly it is absorbed and how it mixes with alcohol. But it might become something you'd take at the start of a night out, or perhaps even add to each drink."
