I'm pretty sure that the original term is 'Meta (ability)' and 'Quirk' was coined by the original Destro's mother. And then 'Quirk' replaced 'Meta (ability)' in general usage - at least in Japan - when the latter became associated with Destro's movement, which was doing less-than-nice things in the name of "liberation".
But do we have any information about what Quirks are called in different countries/languages?

One of the things I like about the Endeavor arc is that we get to see up close that, despite what he's done to his family and despite him having had issues with the "comforting persona" side of being a hero, Endeavor is indeed VERY good at his job. Him keeping up with Deku's rambling is a great example of that.
Poor Uraka, she's so down bad for Deku but Deku isn't thinking about her.
Alright, seems the Author heard about the complaints that the girls didn't do much for the Overhaul hideout raid and the girls got an episode all to themselves.
Ryukyu is back, Selkie and crew are back, and even Nejire is here. This feels like a misplaced season 4 episode lol.
They even brought back trigger.
Gah, surprise beach episode.
Alright, some decent action, Uraka even saves the day and manages to stop the plane from crashing. At the cost of her lunch.
Pretty solid episode. I'm going to guess whoever hired these smugglers is going to be very relevant this season.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Nope! This is the movie 3 tie in episode.
..Movie 2 didn't get a full tie in episode, though.
I don't think its that Deku doesn't know Uraraka exists, I think he's just too clueless to that sort of thing to be the one who'd ever make the first move. He has self-confidence issues, so even though he's crushed on her too, he's failed to realize that she crushes on him.

What?
So the smugglers had nothing to do with the ongoing plotline with MHA Joker?
Okay, is it a good time to watch the movies?
Yeah, I meant that Deku isn't thinking about Uraka in the sense he's too shy and dense, also busy with being an MC in a shonen anime.
Not that he doesn't know she exists.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I love how this evil blue guy shows up in the end part.
Even talking about salvation.
Also next episode sounds like a pretty awkward family dinner with the family of the boss.
Oh god, that takes me back when my dad's top employees and their families had dinner with us.
God, this Endeavor agency saga is just bringing all sorts of memories back.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"It's actually the timeline where Doof didn't have his extremely comedically traumatic childhood and backstory. Which is honestly a good thing as Re-Destro's quirk with all the stress Doofenschmirtz's life would have given him would be overpowered

Attachments are not the problem, Indifference is. Keelah se'laiYou know, I was honestly expecting Shigaraki to do some kind of big publicity video message to capitalize on the fame Stain brought AND outdo him at the same time.
Something like this from Gotham:
This video is perfect for what seems to be the conflict in season 5 and the League of villains in general. There's a bunch of heroes joining a secret organization of some kind because they hate the government and hero society for....I guess putting any kind of restraint on quirks.
Even though Gentle's backstory shows why this is a thing. Even if they want to help, someone with a quirk can fuck up and make things worse.
Sure I still think punishing Deku, Tenya and Shoto is kind of a dick move, but the lore does explain quite well on why it had to be done.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Don’t worry it makes sense once you read get more info in said arc about Destro, the guy Re-Destro took his name from.
They’ve mentioned Destro in the past after all so it was a quick bit of knowledge about him.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yeah so far in this arc, Endeavor feels more like the protagonist than Deku or Shoto.
Also not sure if this is an intentional shout out, but Endeavor backhanding his wife is pretty similar to Hank Pym slapping Janet.
Yeah come to think of it, I imagine Hank and Endeavor would have a lot to bond over.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I’d say Dabi is PROBABLY the Ultron equivalent, but that would imply there was ever a moment before going evil, that Ultron liked Hank.
Then again, Dabi does have that Frankenstein’s monster motif, and I’m guessing Endeavor is the Frankenstein here.
….This will be super embarrassing if I’m wrong but they keep reminding us of Toya.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Oh my god, that was great. Appropriately awkward.
Yeah I'm very much digging this arc far more than the joint training, there's some great character drama here and super hero action like saving lives.
I'm really enjoying the contrast here, Endeavor really is a good super hero, he prioritizes saving lives and hammers home to the trio that RL shit is different from school and being late means that someone could die, that's the reality of super hero work that has to be drilled into their heads.
But this episode hammers home that Endeavor is a shit dad and husband, and he's actually contemplating leaving his family for good since he thinks they can only be happy without him around. Which is not an unfair assessment.
Poor Deku and Bakugo, they didn't ask for any of this but it was great of Deku to try to encourage Shoto while Bakugo was just being an ass. I really feel bad for Fuyumi here, trying to put on the image of being a stable family and it falling apart.
Also, is that Toya I see? Oh wow he's TOTALLY dead. Could I have been wrong that he's Dabi?
Well until I see a corpse, I won't be convinced he's dead.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"
The coouple of times you have mentioned before how Shoto should distance himself from his father, I always thought about this moment; in which, after much consideration, Endevour reaches the same conclusion that his family would be healthier far away from him, so he decides to distance himself by giving them another place to live. A sad yet thoughtful gesture.

Why has nobody mentioned that extremely dapper mole gentleman before
I wish to know more about him
(he's probly an actor cuz that's a commercial but still)
