My brain farted. The latter. I just started it.

Perhaps that's too harsh of me, but the bottom line is, she doesn't really get a chance to be fleshed out besides what her relationship to Deku is. Obviously he's going to be a big part of her life, and Rebel pointed out that characters like Iida and Todoroki are just as defined by their relationship to Deku.
But the difference as also pointed out is that those characters have dynamics besides the ones they have with Deku that get a ton of focus.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, I did say it wasn't perfect. I go back and forth with how okay I am with specific things.
I think saying the series is "okay, but could be a lot better" with regards to female characters is true. Which leaves me wincing when people try and ignore the obvious issues, but also finding myself needing to point out when I think people are ignoring actual nuances and just straight up misrepresenting what's going on.
I will say this: I never got into Black Clover, but at some point in having it on in the background while I waited for other Toonami shows to come on, Asta went from an insufferable idiot to a mildly entertaining idiot.
I remember him fucking up his arms somehow and then more or less immediately deciding he was going to fight by swinging his sword in his teeth or something.
So I just had a thought: do you guys think Horokishi will do some deep dives and start doing homages to famous marvel and dc covers:
Like there's the classic Death of Supergirl cover
◊ from Crisis, or the classic cover from Spider Man Vol 1 Issue 33, the Final Chapter, aka ''If this be my destiny''.
◊
This cover from the fourth issue of Infinity War
would work well with Shigaraki (hey, I spelled it right this time! Yay!) in place of Thanos.
Xmen Issue 100 has been parodied a few times I believe.
◊
And the final idea, and the reason I wrote this post: the cover for Issue 276 of the Avengers, from the Under Siege arc.
◊
If the villains win, we need to save that one for when the heroes make their comeback....not to be confused with Heroes comeback.
League of Villains—beware! They're not students of UA for nothing!
All of this might be asking too much, but lets do it anyway. Anyone got some covers they they'd like to see get some shout outs or homages?
One Strip! One Strip! Before I asked what, if any, Star Wars references where in those cities names, and the official English translator happened to compile
possible references.
He also makes the point that the focus on how so many Heroes were called away might be indicating that there is basically no one to defend or help evacuate people. Regardless of how this ends, that alone will probably make this a P.R. nightmare for all Heroes.

As in, you want different from the usual Shonen mold that isn't Chainsaw Man, or that you're gonna check out Chainsaw Man because it is different from the usual Shonen mold?
