Pokemon does a movie per year.
Pokemon airs perpetually and is a video game franchise: even if the anime stopped airing for whatever reason they could still make movies based on the games.
Detective Conan is another anime franchise that gets a movie every year.
Its also one of the few animes airing continuously every week.
Maybe it's because I read OMGWTFOTM, but I've come to associate the name "Banjo" with stupidly manly characters, and Macademia isn't helping.
And just read the new chapter...well that waa fucking ominous.

Spoilers for the next chapter are abound if anyone cares.
...The hell happened to Shoto's hair?
That's a wind effect I'm assuming
So it's really happening huh? all hell is going to break loose
I had a thought. Depending on how Nana's Float worked it might be just the excuse the story needs to being Uraraka in on the Secret. Her anti-gravity floating is close enough that it could make her someone worth consulting, anyway.
I do like the idea that he can take some stuff from his classmates with each new Quirk.
Semi-related, but now instead of Bakugo being the fifth, the theory states he was the second (because of the "tsu" in Katsuki being similar to how Japanese pronounces the English word "two"). It really was too much to hope for that stupid theory to die, I guess.
I didn't even know it was a thing. Ignorance is bliss I suppose.
You should know by now that stupidity never dies. It is the human condition after all.
What are you all on about, what's this about a theory?
The theory that, Bakugo (and also Kirishima but that's less common) somehow traveled through time and became one of the previous users, and are the shadowy ones.
As for what possible benefits adding time-travel shenanigans and giving Izuku's Bakugo's (and also maybe Kirishima's) Quirk(s), but stronger, could actually have for the story, I couldn't say.

Well, Bak U Go is Engrish to begin with, it's only fitting his number is an Engrish one.
Doesn't quite fit the weak Quirk narrative though.
I think an enhanced version of Nana's float quirk could be superman-like flight.
That theory doesn't sound right at all and the silhouettes don't match. I suspect the previous users that were not shown are not being revealed for a important reason or are just unimportant in relation to Deku and All Might.
x4 I refuse to believe that is for real.

Isn't that basically what Captain Celebrity has in Vigilante?
That would be a good excuse to have him appear in the main story.

I think Celebrity is a bit more like Superboy's tactile telekinesis thing.
IIRC Chris's Quirk surrounds him with a shield that he can move around, which lets him fly. It protects him from, for example, wind resistance as well as concussive blasts. He can extend it around other things, but this makes it overall weaker. The scarred man's plan to kill him was to force him into a situation where he had to fully protect something else, leaving him defenceless.
Ironically, floating would be the easiest of Deku's powers to explain away, as he could pass it off as a variation on his mother's quirk.
I do find it notable that they state that most of the previous holders likely had fairly unremarkable quirks.
There's no reason to spoiler your thoughts - it came out last week and we've been talking about it openly.
