Burns mortality rates are very high due to increased risk of nasty bacterial infections. Your skin is one of your biggest defenses against infections and when its severely burnt that goes away.

So yeah, the fact Dabi is still alive is a bit of a miracle. Albeit healing quirks may trivialize just how dangerous burns can be.

Another issue is that burns are incredibly painful. You will be feeling the pain for them years after the fact.

Superhero worlds tend to have people in general take a lot more punishment.

Third degree or worse burns rarely hurt, actually. Albeit due to the fact that the nerves in the skin have been outright destroyed.

I'm reminded of Joshua Graham all of a sudden. I guess Dabi's either chugging down painkillers like candy or has grown so desensitized to that particular pain that it's just become a dull background noise.

Would surely explain why he's so humorless most of the time.

Alright I figured out which episode the raid should start in.

Episode 4 was about Deku’s first encounter with Overhaul & talk with amount, 5 & maybe 6 should be about Kirishima could also, leaving 7 to be about the raid briefing.

Meaning it should all start by episode 8.

[up][up] If the burns are as serious as a couple tropers above say, Dabi might just not physically feel anything in most of his body.

Given that most of his body is likely severely burnt, he probably just burnt off his nerve endings. He probably actually cannot feel anything, which...yea, wouldn't make anyone exactly in a chipper mood.

And even his quirk only damages his body even further...you really do have to wonder how is he even alive...

Wait the raid could start by episode 7 if Kirishima's encounter with the criminal is contained to only 1 episode.

R Emember when All Might almost crippled Deku by throwing his entire body at his back and then slamming him into a bus and ground.

Anime: Been waiting for Krishima to get this episode. He's practically a main character at this point.

Huh so episode 8 is Suneater's fight.

Assuming it all takes place in 1 episode then that means 9 will be Fat-Gum & Kirishima, 10 will be the corridor battle, with 11 to lets say 13 being the final battle with Overhaul.

I think that's gonna depend more on the pacing that the Cultural Festival than anything, since they seem to be trying to do most of Overhaul in one cour.

If we go 8 Suneater, 9 Kirishima, 10 Togawice, 11 Mirio, 12 First part of Deku vs Overhaul, Chrono vs Aizawa, The girls fight, etc, 13 End of the fight with infinite 100% and 14 for the wrap-up, that would leave another 11 episodes. Remedial Course would probably be 2 eps and Pro Hero needs I think 3. That'd leave 6 episodes for the Cultural Festival, which is indeed perfectly doable with a normal pace of 2-chapters an episode with the occasional increase to 3 (which is almost guaranteed for Deku vs Gentle sicne action scenes go by fast).

But it's pretty tight and it doesn't account for possible filler like a movie tie-in or whatever. Could go either way.

Huh, I suspected the Internship Arc was gonna be roughly the whole of season 4. I just hope the anime gives an episode or more focus on the girls side of the arc.

Yeah if we assume 14 will be the cool-down episode with the League crippling Overhaul & killing Snatch, with 15-16 being Bakugo & Todoroki's exam then all that's left is figuring out how the Festival will be adapted.

The Festival is around a regular volumes length so that would be 6 episodes, half a cour but this is without taking into account any possible filler. The Hero License exam was extended beyond what it should have been by the addition of a filler episode or 2 & this is without the addition of the movie tie-in.

So lets say without filler the Festival should go up to episode 20 but with filler it might go up to episode 22. So depending on what happens we might end up with 4 or 2 remaining episodes of the season.

[down] Wait sorry I thought you meant that like a question.

Still, for the family to be fooled that a burn victim is dead requires complicity on the part of the hospital. Then again, it's possible this was no accident: if Touya deliberately set himself on fire in order to escape from an abusive home, that would explain how he could pull off this stunt and the toll it took on the Todoroki family. It's a distinct possibility that the Todorokis believe Touya committed suicide.

[up] Maybe his quirk kinda makes him a fire zombie...like his flames became blue upon when he died, giving him a stronger blue flame and revitalizing his heart, but will eventually run out or decay his body the more he uses it.

Speaking of which, episode 4. JUST TAKE THE GIRL AND RUN AWAY JUST TAKE THE GIRL AND RUN AWAY JUST TAKE THE GIRL AND RUN AWAY JUST TAKE THE GIRL AND RUN AWAY WILL SAVE YOU PROBABLY FOURTEEN TO SEVENTEENTH EPISODES AND THIRTY SIX CHAPTERS OF CONTENT.

Okay looking back on it, its not easy to say Lemillion could go into the ground to hide himself underneath the pavement while Deku could've used Full Cowling to make a quick getaway since they kinda want to take down the Eight Percepts? Wouldn't taking Eri from day one would've just helped the heroes since it'd lead the villains out in the open searching for the Eri, and the heroes could just lead them into a trap. Like We Win Because You Didn't.
