It would also help avoid Shipping Bed Death while avoiding the whole Will They or Won't They? cliche. It would also allow for more exploration into the impact that the hero profession can have on one's personal life and all that entails as well. After learning what happened to Kouta, I'd think that Deku might have that at the back of his mind if the possibility of romance between two heroes crops up, even if it doesn't involve him specifically.
Reaction Image RepositoryI have thought about that before. Lock Rock is the only current, living hero we know to be in a relationship and/or have children.
Kota's parents were both heroes, and they died. And of course Nana's husband was murdered and she severed attachments with her son for his own safety.
Edit: Brain fart, I forgot about Endeavor. Well, the point still stands for healthy relationships, though.

Good to know that Twice can multiply himself way faster than anything else. It makes sense, based on the criteria for his Quirk to work in the first place.
I'm liking Re-Destro's Quirk a lot. I was hoping there would be more to it than just some strength-enhancement.

This arc is already great but this chapter is nothing short of magnificent.
The story of the mother and the origins of the terms quirk is really wonderful and it adds alot to the Manga's lore, something it was kinda lacking but wasn't necessary. I wonder if the author always had in mind this idea of the quirk being originally called superpowers. I wonder if there will be a character somehow connected with said kid, and maybe learn more about the story of this world (since the birth of quirks, of course)
There isn't an impossible dream, there are only people who give up
if that kid turn out to be AFO, then... I really don't know what I would do but that would be outright weird.
That aside, this chapter was indeed wonderful.
world lore, clone-antics, and Re-Destro channeling his inner balloon-animal was all a great sight to see. I even did a double-take when I saw that giant arm the first time, and involuntarily, started playing the song of Wreck-it-Ralph in my head while smiling about it.
His kanji makes perfect sense now.

From the translation I'm reading, Re-Destro claims that Destro said "This isn't the world that mother wished for!"
Edit: also, apparently, the "Quirk Restriction Law" used to be even harsher than it is in present time...I wonder "how" much harsher that could be...

Af O specifically has a quirk that slows his aging. Dont think Redestro has that.
Him being a descendant makes more sense than being Destro's son
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.![]()
Yeah... Nice "Virgin Mary" symbolism there in the manifesto Re-Destro...
What's next?
Destro being "Jesus Christ" of Quirks?
Sorry. but considering the "source" of this info, I can't help but think that there's more to the story than what a cult-leader prone to propaganda is saying about it...

So Destro's child is the original glowy child that began the heritage of Quirks? But doesn't that mean that Redestro's claim of being Destro's son is more metaphorical than anything else? (well, he wouldn't be a direct son, at least)
Like, assuming AFO came to be in the next generation, there's quite a few decades between that and the present day. Also, Shigaraki's sheer casualness in obliterating that tower is something else.
Someone help me out; what exactly is Redestro's quirk? Some kind of resizing limbs with super strength thing?
Twice continues to be a big villainous softie.

That could be a good way to handle it.
