Mmm, this is going to be a tricky road for Horikoshi to write about. From what I gather, the CEO and his followers are going to behave like the communists guerrillas/terrorists of the Cold War, which means that things might get a bit political.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.Seems about as good a time as any to go back to the internships; Bakugo and Todoroki have their provisional licenses now so they can actually participate. I imagine that whatever these guys have in store is going to be big - big enough that the students who participate will need to be involved in some official capacity instead of just coincidentally happening to come across some major plot point action.

Oh my gosh, if Bakugou interns under Hawks the double agent while Todoroki works with his father trying to take down the Quirk Liberation people who are trying to take down the League Hawks is working with, it could be one of the greatest plot-point explosions thus far.
Does anyone actually read these?I never though I could laugh and cry so much at the same time
Todoroki: I didn't know Happy Meals were that expensive.
Uraraka: Happy Meals?
Todoroki: My mom used to get them for me all the time, she never said...
Uraraka (to herself): A Freudian Slip?

The official translation’s out, btw. It would seem that Destro had “a child”, singular.
Though I suppose technically, the narration doesn’t specify WHO that is, so there could theoretically be misdirection here...
Oh God! Natural light!Still betting on Bakugo interning with Mirko myself, but no reason she can't get involved in whatever happens here. If it's really big I could see several of those top heroes being involved.

I would not mind Destro's family line being insanely convoluted in homage to Magneto's treatment by Marvel.
My feeling with Destro Jr.'s killing of the furry was not about the critique of the book, but that the furry guy was too compulsively honest and could not be trusted with the secret agenda his boss was about to initiate.
I mean, Miyashita straight up said he thought the whole philosophy and group was crap. That's reason enough to not let him in, not so much to kill him.
You can even see it on the President's face; he keeps smiling, a couple of panels of him trying to keep himself together, and then finally apologizing when he couldn't keep his emotions in check.

Another explanation for "Detnerat" is that it's a combination of "detonation" and "rat", the rat coming from that theory that was brought up during the Overhaul fight - about how rats spreading a virus might have been the origin of Quirks.
You'll notice that Destro does actually have a rat patch on his jacket.
Or his quirk might be something like "Freedom" (name may differ) which basically makes people reckless and more likely to use their quirks more than they should have done if they were still sane and full of restraint. (and as a bonus, unlocks the limiters of the affected quirks, forcing them to enter "hysterical power" mode.)
A "support-type" ability, capable of destroying others by having them self-destruct from reckless quirk usage while under effect of the "Freedom" quirk...
After all, it would be fitting someone like him...
I of course could be perfectly wrong though.
Also, I, for some reason, find the CEO similar to Todoroki for a handful of reasons...I wonder why...

Oh yeah, I think Destro Jr's company is the one that made Bakugou's and Uraraka's costumes since they have those two dots on them.
Wonder if making it into the Hero Industry is for some plan like making all their things malfunction at bad times.
Or the "mask" Quirk is some possession type thing.
