I like how this series just ping pongs between dark as fuck and just classroom shenanigans
Overhaul arc: Young child is physically and psychologically tortured by the Yakuza.
Gentle Arc: Some old guy trying to stir up trouble.
Pro Hero: Endeavor nearly dies in his debut as the top hero and the weight of his sins against his family comes crashing down.
Training camp: lighthearted matches between Class A and B.
This arc: A terrorist group that wish to overturn the current government to permit unsanctioned use of their powers. Also someone is murdered in the first chapter of it.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, Mickey had it coming...
...you just don't dis someone's favorite book like that. If you don't like it, just call it "confusing". That's neutral criticism in it's finest and hey, you might even get the guy who do like it to explain it for you in a shortened synopsis.
So let me see if I get this straight.
The LA basically wants the "Quirk Regulation Laws" abolished so everyone can use their quirks freely, not just the heroes...
While LOV just want to turn the whole world of theirs into what's essentially "Mad Max", with zero order whatsoever...
Is this correct assumption?
To be fair, it's not like he expected to be murdered for it.
I get the feeling the LA are going to go the same way the Yakuza did. Just being another group to build up the Lo V in the end.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Anyway, it's nice of the series to establish right from the get-go what kind of people the LA are. There's not really much of an argument for moral ambiguity here. It's too bad that we're almost certainly going to have RL fans rooting for them and defending them. Probably the same people who root for Stain.

Disgusted, but not surprisedWhat sets apart the League of Villains from the Yakuza and the LA seems to be that the Lo V are unrepentant card carrying villains. Most of them don't seem to hold any pretense of honor or good intentions. The Yakuza had the pretense of "honor" and rebuilding themselves. The LA have their Quirk lolbertarian bullshit. The Lo V? They're the bad guys and they know it.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI do think these dudes are gonna end up losing to the LOV. He's been Out of Focus for a while, but I maintain that Shigaraki's rise to the king of the underworld as AFO's successor is gonna mirror Deku's own growth into All Might's successor.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Shigaraki's growth as a supervillain-in-training does seem to be a clear parallel to Deku's growth as a superhero-in-training.
It's especially poignant since there are points where they seem to be indirectly aiding each other's development.

Disgusted, but not surprisedYep... and from the feel of it, it looks like we're going to follow Bakugou and Todoroki through this arc as the main players of Class-1A.
Which I don't mind really, since they are part of the "Main Cast" and all, this could give them a chance to catch up with the rest of the class now when they finally got their licenses.
Also, it was a bit funny over how gung-ho they were considering that they went after "Avalanche"(My nickname on this purse-snatcher squad since hey, they are riding an avalanche in the winter, clad in winter sport gear.), not thirty minutes after getting their permissions.
Will be fun to see how they handle this winter league on their own...
I do wish we could see at least one of the forgotten ones of Class-1A though...

So it's evil vs evil now huh?
Even if these guys are primarily against the league, I do wonder how the heroes will deal with i.
One Strip! One Strip!
Well, considering what the "Quirk Regulation Law" says about this...
1. Arrest LOV (on the virtue for being "Villains")
2. Arrest anyone using their quirk without a license. (Illegal quirk usage = Vigilante/"Villain" = Arrest at once.)
And...pretty much that's it.
What the LA does once the heroes do interfere is up in the air though...
To be fair, it's stated in-universe that quirk regulation was something of a knee-jerk reaction. And furthermore, illegal quirk use is really only serious when someone is hurt or some property is damaged.
Honestly I were making quirk laws, I'd just go for "do quirk crime, do 4x the time, pay 4x the fine" and call it a day. Maybe add some kind of quirk insurance for people with volatile quirks so they say not have to pay too much out of pocket if they slip up and mess up since property.
So the League of Villains are devoted to being Card Carrying Villains who just want to cause chaos (they are made up of mostly murderers and psychopaths who are just angry at the world, or like hurting people and want to do so freely).
This new group are made up of people who basically want to be able to use their quirks without caveats (not necessarily to harm others), but choose to make their point through violence.
One group is against society itself, while the other simply opposes the laws of society.
Now if the League is basically Chaotic Evil, but what are these other guys?
One Strip! One Strip!

He was also mentioned in Vigilantes I recall. In the chapter I think with a guy whose quirk blows himself up.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
