I'm glad it seems like he's going to (at least eventually) get some individual time with each predecessor.

Talking to All Might inside will be weird, even if that's probably only going to happen after All Might dies.

When that happens, it will be (I suspect) the moment Deku learns that All Might has been killed (Off-Screen) for real, for some extra tearjerker realization for us readers as well for maximum effect, by the LOV.

That will be a sad day indeed.

I read somewhere that hori is moving so that might be why all these recent chapters have been shorter

Uraraka's moment was short but 1. I'm not sure how you could really extend it much more without making it drag and 2. it's entirely possible that she'll get more focus in the immediate aftermath.

I'm expecting more from her later on, yeah.

My guess for the ones shrouded in darkness is that they were either villains (at least at some point) or they received One For All against their wills.

This is making me wonder if every past holder of One For All had their own unique variation of it because it integrated with their original quirk. Deku's and All Might's use of it is similar because both are Quirkless.

I was thinking they were the ones that were never able to reach 100%. The shadows covering Midoriya in the dreams seem to roughly correspond to the percentage he has yet to tap into.

It's a possibility. We know that if you already have a quirk, getting One For All on top of it makes the existing one stronger. No indication whether it does that instead of how it works for All Might and Midoriya, or in addition to it, but the assumption seems to be the latter.

Not reaching 100 percent would be one thing, but he couldn't make them out at all. In this hypothetical, wouldn't that imply they never made any progress at all?

Plus, Izuku doesn't have 20% of his body covered, even though we know that's what the All For One ghosts are going off of (and why he couldn't see more flashbacks).

Yeah, 20% not covered is what I meant. But like, I don't you can say he has 20% of his body not covered. It's just the top of his head, and his right hand.

I don't recall anything ever implying this. The closest thing I could think of was All Might saying Todoroki could be a Super Hero if he got One For All on top of his existing power, but that seemed to be about Todoroki already being incredible, not about One For All actually making Todoroki's Half-Cold Half-Hot stronger.

I have to say, Izuku learning more about One For All from... One For All is weird when you actually thinking about it.

I just realized, this really is Avatar now huh. Complete with the Hero's predecessor's giving him lessons on his current predicament.

One For All increases physical abilities. Several times we've had people refer to quirks as physical abilities. It's not enough confirmation to treat it as fact in my eyes, but it also isn't an invalid assumption that One for All will enhance a bearer's quirk as well.

Would need to check, but I think the dub All Might said something suggesting boosting Quirks.

I mean, Quirks are equated to biological functions/physical abilities, but that doesn't equal physical strength.

There's been no implication of One For All improving Izuku's senses or reflexes, for example. If a person already has some sort of physical enhancement or strength Quirk I could see One For All being used to make that stronger, but I don't see it, say, making Bakugo's explosions stronger if he had it.

The parallels to Avatar are even funnier when thinking about how they're almost certainly unintentional.
