That seems.... counterintuitive.
It looks like Yui keeps a lot of shrunken tools on all the pockets and bags she has on her. It's just like the ninja from Todoroki's filler fight. You'd think the anime people would ask about whether he has plans to use a certain Quirk or set up in the actual story, like happens with Oda and Devil Fruit powers.
Not that it really matters, but still.

I think that's probably true to a point, but part of it is also the fact that when something gets popular, it usually leads to a massive influx of newbies who overrun the conversation, often endlessly parroting conversation points and jokes that have already run their among the already established fandom.
Granted, it's still complete bull to turn on the show because the fandom got overrun, but I'd be really surprised if there isn't some degree of connection.

Reaction Image RepositoryMan I always hate when people hate on something just cause it’s popular.
And you know that’s the primary reason for its hate. I’ve seen people go at MHA far more than necessary just because they “despise” how big it’s become.
Sure the fans can be annoying but that’s no reason to take it out on the show. It’s just very immature all around.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Two thoughts:
- This really isn't anything new from Monoma. The mind games and below-the-belt taunting where there during the Sports Festival, he just hasn't been prominent enough to really have anything besides his jokey bit to stand out. But people should be careful to not forget that a character having a joke associated with them doesn't mean that's all there is to them (necessarily, anyway).
- It's interesting that Reiko has a limit for individual objects, but not cumulative matter. Or at the very least, if she does have an upper limit of stuff she can move, it's definitely greater than "one person".
This is her after nine months of basically power lifting. It may very well be she could only lift objects one at a time before.
Bewitching EyesNah they have good discussions about certain series. Like Highschool Dx D or Tiger and Bunnys sequel Project Double Decker.
But the majority of franchises? NOPE.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Maybe she's only related to the ninja guy from the filler. From what we've seen he's only made things bigger, and that at a set conversion scale. Kodai seems to be able to make objects bigger or smaller, then return them to their original size, though there's no mention of if she has some sort of limit on how much bigger or smaller she can make something.
I doubt she's related to him at all. What probably happened is the anime didn't check with Horikoshi, and by coincidence they ended up doing something similar to what he was going to do with her.
It's not a big deal, it was filler after all, it's just kind of funny.

/a/ is actually a pretty good place for discussion...for semi-obscure manga that is. Like Dungeon Meshi or Kimetsu no Yaiba. Because they don't attract internet trolls.
MHA threads on /a/ were really civil during the Sports Festival arc and I regularly visited it. Nowadays I skip them entirely because I know it would be just shitpostings and memes.

Hold on to Kimetsu being a civil topic of discussion.
Cause it’s anime by Ufotable is coming out soon so check to see if people start turning on it if it becomes more popular & mainstream.
Their reaction is very interesting & well-written but anymore would be spoilers.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

/a/ is a cancerous place; they don't really care about the series itself, they just want an excuse to do their usual shitposting.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
