Judging by how they've been so far, I'm just expecting stuff like Weld Man and Lizard Woman, like they're Robot Masters or something.
Bewitching EyesMonoma and Vlads arrogance doomed this match. Monoma was extremely arrogant to think Bakugou didn't get along with anyone. Hell he hangs out with Kirishima all the time.
Now Im imaging Bakugou as Explodokill man.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Hell, he lost the Cavalry Battle to Bakugou using basically identical tactics: charging ahead while his team backs him up
Bewitching EyesMonoma probably said so many things behind Bakugous back he clearly is believing the smack talk he spouts about Class A.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I guess I'm in the minority, but I honestly preferred the drawn out fights where both teams were relatively evenly matched. Don't really like this one, especially with how Setsuna here was hyped as a recommended student/master tactician/recon specialist - but actually had a pretty useless quirk for physical combat, made very little difference with her plans, and failed to notice Sero taping a bomb to her.
On the bright side (for me, haha) - Awase was surprisingly cool? I wasn't really hoping for more than the rest of his costume and some insight into his combat techniques. But he actually put in a pretty good showing somehow?

Class B has a habit of underestimating Bakugou. They never really act to improve on that after Monoma lost the first time. So naturally they don't take anything into account for Bakugou changing even just enough to protect others.
Bakugous also all about the quick fights. He doesn't get into long brawls. A battle of speed based on who attacks first would be the quickest fight.

I mean, if all of the matches were like this, it would be bad, but I'm fine with one being this way.
I can hardly blame them for not seeing something like this coming, especially because after the first round there was a moment were Bakugo was like "You assholes better not get in my way!" The strategy made sense, one very important variable changed.
So, yeah, I don't really see this reflecting badly on any of the Class B team.
But Awase was cool for what for little we saw, and his costume is cool.

I kinda wonder that too. Like normally, you'd assume a fight with a MC like Bakugou in it, would be one you wanted to draw out a little more.
Anyways, I guess Awase was maybe supposed to always be pretty decent, with how well he scored in the entrance exam. But I wasn't expecting much. The top part of his costume threw me off too. Made him look like a tanky knight-in-shining-armor type. But given his quirk, I guess going for speed really is the best. I really didn't expect him to be carrying his own welding materials though. It's pretty impressive that he can move so quickly with that much stuff.
The problem with Setsuna is that she's no good in direct combat. But she fails to show any other skills that really make up for it. It would be mostly forgivable - if it weren't for the fact that she was a recommended student.
Awase was super hardcore though. If I'm understanding correctly, his backup plan was literally just "Tank Bakugou's explosions until he gets close enough for me to weld steel to his face." It's always cool when a minor character manages to get a hit in against a major one like that. Even if they don't succeed, it makes them seem really badass.
Class-B team where prepared for "sport festival Bakugo"... Too bad it has been months since then. I am not surprised that this turned into a B-grade slaughter with this in mind.
That aside, is Awase using his quirk to reinforce his bones and muscles in order to carry the extra armor on his skin too? Otherwise, wouldn't it have been too heavy to carry around like he did?
Great teamwork from both sides by the way...

Yeah, the 1B team planned for the Bakugo that ran off without or without telling, or without caring too much about his teammates, like during the Hero-Villain exercise, the Cavalry match, or both rounds of the License exam.
What they got was a Bakugo led from the from, that turned around and HELPED his team, and whose team could help him in return.
Setsuna's quirk is completely useless for offense; its only practical application in a direct fight is avoiding damage by quickly splitting and reassembling. Not to mention, recommended student or not, she's got zero experience in a real fight. She can craft all the plans she wants, but she's clearly not flexible enough to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.

But we didn't get any of their hero names this time.
I hope when the volumes for this comes out it has the ones that weren't actually said during the rounds. Or he can just add them to the pages or something.
