Okay the placements that surprises me most on that list are Present Mic & Shindo (Earthquake guy).
Nothing against Mic but I didn't think he'd be that many people's favorite.
But damn did not expect a good amount of people to actually like Shindo that much.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well, that was an interesting chapter. I wonder how much focus will be put on the fact that Bakugo basically charged right into the enemy team's trap despite the rest of his team not wanting to.

Well, all of the Team B members seemed to agree with Bakugo's logic, so I don't think we're supposed to see him as in the wrong for his approach. If anything, you could say the other being hesitant might be brought up for why they fell for the trap in the first place. Probably not though.
I like Setsuna and Bondo using their Quirks cleverly, and I love that Togaru is clearly Class B's Bakugo. Awase hasn't done anything yet, so that'll probably be something good.

I'm definitely curious about how Setsuna is going to turn out. Right now, she seems competant. And her quirk is cool/kinda unique. But coming right on the heels of Juzo and Todoroki, I feel like I'm still waiting on the moment that really pushes her into the territory of "Of course someone like her would be recommended!".
I like how Class-A's recommended students have obviously broken powers like massive elemental control & the ability to create anything while Class-B has more low-key powers in comparison like making things soft & splitting yourself into multiple tiny bits.
And they are considered on the same general level.
Never said they weren't great.
I just said at first hand one might not have expected softing to be so broken & comparative because it lacks the pure destructive power of elemental control.
Plus Tokage is pretty much gonna be what Buggy can accomplish if he actually worked himself to his full potential barring some differences in their powers.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."@LSBK: I was thinking less of that strategy in particular and more the fact that he basically ignored his teammates' input.
Reaction Image RepositoryI would like that, actually. Would show character growth, and would allow the others some time to shine. I do wonder if it's even possible to capture Tokage, though - does putting only part of her in jail count?
Also, crazy idea - what if Tokage could generate a new her from each of the pieces she had split up? And then those copies could split apart, lather, rinse and repeat...
Oh God! Natural light!Agreed. Though he seems to be a rather nervous guy, if the translation is correct, so I think how they're doing it fits.
I wonder what his voice will sound like. Right now I'm imagining him with a rather high, childlike voice.
I guess he's basically Al?

I feel like that would be a little OP and also overly similar to Twice's power. Unless the clones were much weaker than the others.
What I could see her do is maybe have From a Single Cell type regeneration where she can regenerate herself from any individual piece of herself, but she could only have one active full body at a time. It would give her flexibility of movement without letting her essentially build an army of herself.
Reaction Image RepositoryWell, they were all complaining about it, so it could also be set up for him begrudgingly listening to what they have to say. Well, assuming they can regroup and the whole match won't be this encounter.
Honestly though, Bakugo taking charge while barking orders is to be expected. The thing to note is that he actually said "support me however you can" instead of just "I'll kick all their asses, so stay out of the way" or something.
It doesn't seem like she has regenerative powers at all. And I don't think her gaining regeneration would make sense with how the series deals with the characters strengthening their Quirks.

This is a bit of a Late to the Punchline thing, but I just realized something while watching something completely unrelated. It had always struck me as odd that Honenuki's name had "Hone", as in bone, in it. I figured it went to his skeletal look but on a completely unrelated youtube video I heard the word "honenuki" in reference to having no bones.
Does 'honenuki' basically mean "boneless"?
Yeah, most literally it refers to removing bones (from fish, etc.), and figuratively it means "watered down, mutilated, lacking integrity" and the like.
Basically the name refers to both his appearance and his power. His first name Juzo also has the kanji for "soft" in it.

Endeavor was 6 votes away from 7th place.
