Okay, let's start with the battlefield. On the Noire side, we're all wearing our snow-uniforms (we'd better be wearing those uniforms!), meaning lots of white blending in with the white snow. We're taking advantage of the crap visibility.

[up][up] I'm considering having him say that at some point.

Alright then! Sounds good. Later on when we are at capital and picking what we bring into fights we can come up with better tactics. For now lets just go out there, crash and have fun!

Ah Grim! A thing. I think I made Ekaterina 24 years old yet her mom says she's not even 20... was that a mistake or a product of her sickness?

A product of her sickness. She still thinks she's a teenager.

Ok, hope my first post is ok... I look forward to crushing the Blanche scum.

Given we were discussing who inspired who earlier, can anyone guess what inspired the Heios Leamonde and its pilot?

Could we at the very least just know the situation?

Dalt's solution is totally fine for Blanche, since we already established they're the evil empire with the big tough army, but it's also already been said that Noire are supposed to be the Brotherhood of Nod, so just slamming both sides at each other isn't very fair.

Yeah, I'd like to avoid donating my skull to the skull throne in the first battle.

Fine.

So, it's snowing. The city is held by Blanche, with Noire camped a bit south. The terrain is rocky and mountainous, which means Goliaths and Paladins will have a hard time maneuvering until they get into the city itself.

We have a few aircraft, some tanks and some artillery. The city has anti-air guns around the perimeter. The city itself is built right next to a mountain wall.

[up]Course wouldn't an aerial access Paladin be able to get there pretty easily?

Funny how on Nman's post he describes Blanche with how I'd assume things are carried out in Noire :p Aren't they the chaotic to Blanches lawful? Slow, methodical and well throughout is how I imagine Blanche goes.

Noire could maybe use the terrain to their advantage - using it for cover and using their knowledge of the area to get close without too much hassle?

I'd imagine Noire is the Israel to Blanche's "large remaining portion of the region that wants to wipe them off the face of the planet".

I figured that Noire would be cautious and meticulous because they are under-gunned.

[up][up][up] That's your prince's job isn't it? To come up with something.

Also, I may get distracted and not post. I am sucked into the Nasuverse, playing the FSN VN right now.

Actually we are equally matched super powers. You got half and we got half.

No big underdog, just two powers with completely opposite views duking it out.

Also, wow, the conditions of the terrain and such completely altered my thought strategy.

Since it's first battle and we were told to take it easy, I'm just going to declare it outright in my post and then wait to meet Noir in the field of battle.

I was thinking of having a scene where Ekaterina meets Serrick. Given they're both high command, it'd be good for them to get to know one another...

[up] Not if Serrick has anything to say about it.

He'd much prefer it if they never meet and just attack each other. Why?

He's a pretty Genre Savvy sort. He has read about what happens when a Prince and a Princess from two warring powers meet.
